Inspired by the Zero Waste movement in 2012 and a job advertisement for a couple who were looking to downsize before an international move, Rebekah Saltzman, a graphic designer, quit her job and started a personal organization company. Today she helps people organize, automate and streamline their homes and business and helps them to reduce their waste. In 2014 Rebekah moved to Israel with her husband and three children from New York City. She holds a degree in Fashion Design from Parson School of Design, and Has been helping people declutter in one form or another for 20 years! She has a growing online presence through the Facebook group Organizing in Israel https://www.facebook.com/groups/591632997706988/ and on Instagram as @balaganbegone she has a weekly podcast called Journey to Organization where she talks about decluttering and reducing waste.
