Well, we did it. We watched all of the movies. And this, the last, The Rise and Grind of Skywalker. That could've been a joke I made on the episode, but I didn't. That one's just for the description heads. Support our behavior on patreon.com.drskeleton
I'm watching this movie saying "full Sabacc." I'm saying "droid rights," but as a joke. I'm doing a Billy Dee Williams impression. I'm looking at my dice a lot. I'm getting owned by teenagers at CVS. This movie has it all! Support our behavior at patreon.com/drskeleton
Sure, it's the last Jedi. But is it the last movie? No. Obviously not. There's two more to go. And really how could you sum up this movie by saying anything other than "there are two more after this?" Today, Ben finally explains why he did GamerGate but for Star Wars. Is the best Star Wars movie not really a Star Wars movie? It doesn't have an episode number or an opening crawl, but it is about dads, so perhaps it's a Star Wars movie after all. Unfortunately, the characters in this film are not the exact type of communist that I am so it gets zero stars. Support our behavior at patreon.com/drskeleton
I'm wakin' up over here! Today, we're bypassing the compressor and letting the rathtars loose. It's time to dig into the sequel trilogy. Support our behavior at patreon.com/drskeleton
With an extremely high LPM (lightsabers per minute) index, Revenge of the Sith appears to be a strong contender for an actually watchable Star Wars movie. Are we still hatin' Christensen? Does Obi Wan get his swag back? And is Coruscant the future Ron Paul wants for us? Not to worry, Star Wars fans. We're still flying half a ship. Let's roll. Oh boy. What's going on with this one, huh? Any chance this movie deserves better than its reputation suggests? Has time smiled kindly on the second entry in the prequel trilogy? Or is it the case that everyone has a point, and this is probably one of the worst times you can have at the movies? All of these questions will be answered, inside...
Podracers, start your engines! Run ragged by last week's disappointing Return of the Jedi, our panelists turn their attention to what is popularly considered to be the worst movie in the series. It's been 24 years since the release of Episode I, though, and there's a chance that the menace this entry posed to Star Wars was but a phantom itself.
25 years from now, I'm going to re-release this episode with some big juicy lips thrown in there. Today we're talking about Return of the Jedi, a movie so bad we considered ending the series here. But I'm sure we're through the worst of it now, so let's soldier on. Next week, we're watching The Phantom Menace.
Welcome back to Darthter Skeleton's Art Academy, the Dr. Skeleton's Art School podcast mini-series about the Star Wars movies and now also Spaceballs I guess. Today we're talking about The Empire Strikes Back, a movie that introduces a lot of "Star Wars" stuff that you kinda just think is in there from the jump but isn't, apparently. This is the short documentary Will mentions throughout the episode: A Conversation with the Masters: The Empire Strikes Back 30 Years Late...
Bum bum bum Buuuum buum bum bum bum Buuuuuuum buuum bum bum bum Buuuuuum buuum bum bum bum buuuuuuuuuuuum... Ahh, those famous opening notes to that classic fanfare we all know and love! It's Star Wars time, and our intrepid professors are blasting off into a galaxy far, far away... This is our first episode of Darthter Skeleton's Art Academy, a Dr. Skeleton's Art School podcast series wherein we will watch all of the Star Wars movies and talk about them on the show. To encourage this type of be...
