David Plotz: Author of 'Good Book'

David Plotz is a journalist and writer with Slate as well as the magazine's editor.  He is the co-host of the Slate Political Gabfest podcast with John Dickerson and Emily Bazelon.
Several years ago, he began blogging about the Bible, which became the foundation for his second book entitled  Good Book: The Bizarre, Hilarious, Disturbing, Marvelous, and Inspiring Things I Learned When I Read Every Single Word of the Bible.
