Mopac Audio. Hi, this is Chris, the host from Lisk, Long Island serial killer with a quick update. First, thanks to all of you out there that are listening and who are asking for and excited about season two. And here in a minute, we'll give you a brief preview of what's in store. And although we don't have an exact date for its release,
Please know we're doing it as fast as possible in a way where we get it right and do it justice. Part of that requires a few final trips out to Long Island to get boots back on the ground, do the work, finish recording some interviews. And one factor that influences how quickly all of this can happen... is increasing the reach of the podcast and attracting a wider audience. And this is where we need your help. So if you like the work we're doing and believe this story needs telling,
We're asking you to do a few simple things that really would give us a boost. First, subscribe, rate and review. Those three easy steps, maybe two minutes of your time, really help us in the rankings. And that matters because the platforms give those podcasts more exposure. Second, please spread the word. Tell some friends about the podcast because word of mouth is really key to growing our audience.
We really are just a small team making the most of the resources we have. Yet, because of the content and our amazing listeners, we're hanging in there with the massive podcast companies who have some very deep pockets.
So thank you for that. But please help us out if you haven't done so already so we can finish telling this story. And I've gotten to know the victims' families. And believe me, they are grateful as well. Now here's just a small preview of what we're working on for Season 2. I have heard...
that people have asked for subpoenas on certain cases, one of them at Gilgrove Beach, having to deal with it, and they were denied. Yes, I have. I mean, it matters that they're not investigating this. It matters that they're covering up for one another. It matters because people, residents of this county, black, white, men, women, rich, poor,
deserve to be protected by law enforcement. Dave Shallow said he saw some of Amber Costello's clients' cars and license plates. Some of them looked official. Amber had some interesting. clients as far as people that surprised me. Lawyers, judges, police, councilmen, all these kind of people have license plates.
I believe it might be a good idea to ask Dave if he would be willing to go under hypnosis. It might be a good idea for a forensic hypnotist maybe be able to reveal these details. I had a witness that remembered. seeing a partial plate on the suspect's vehicle. I asked the witness to see if he would go under hypnosis, and he agreed to it, and he recalled a five-digit plate number on the suspect's truck.
You guys smoking crack? My guys on my team are making $230, $240. The guy driving the sector car makes about $180, $190. With overtime, they're making $250. Holy shit. convicting former Suffolk District Attorney Thomas Spota and the Chief of Spota's Public Corruption Bureau Christopher McBarkman on all counts relating to their obstruction of a federal civil rights investigation. We're getting more people to come forward now, being that Burke is in jail. Apparently, a lot of people were afraid to open their mouth. slowly but surely that law enforcement people are coming forward.
