Hello, friends, and welcome back to Let It Flow. I'm Alexis. I'm so excited you're here. I am your mindset, manifestation coach, human design reader, overall just spiritual girlfriend. And we're just going to talk about all things manifestation today, specifically manifestation immersion therapy, which is just like the funniest little thing that popped into my

head honestly a few months ago. And I just haven't taken action on it. And I literally talked to, I talked to my like angels, God, Jesus, whoever, but my, my whole team up there, I talked to them all the time. And I was like, please do not take this idea away from me. Because if you've read the book Big Magic, they talk about like how ideas magically come to you. And if you don't take action on them, they will find somebody else to bring them to life.

And I was like, Hey, guys, like, please don't take this idea away from me because I think it's really funny. I'm just figuring out the best way to share it. So I'm ready to share about it now because it is one of the most like, OK, funny term for it, but it's like the most essential thing that you can do to bring your manifestations to life. Manifestation immersion therapy is just kind of like a cheeky way of saying you need to feel the energy of the thing you want before you have it.

So it's my new favorite phrase And a little teaser about it is that manifestation is not just vision boards and affirmations. There's actually an energetic level that a lot of people miss. Or if you're in the mindset and manifestation world, you probably hear it all the time that you need to feel the energy before you have it, which is just really confusing. Like how do you feel the energy of something that you want to

have before you have it? That's why it's on your vision board in the 1st place because you don't, you don't freaking have it. Like how do you even step into that energy if you have no idea what it feels like to have that thing or do that thing or be that thing? So at the core, this is about immersing yourself in the energy of your dream life before you actually see it in your physical reality. And I'm going to share how you

can actually do that. For an example from my life when I was back living in Bloomington, MN, this was like mid COVID times. I was watching so many YouTube videos of people going on adventures and van lifing and traveling and I just thought they were the coolest, most adventurous, spontaneous people and that for some reason they were different from me. And I journaled about it and I would vision oh what would it be like to be that type of person?

And I didn't view myself as spontaneous and adventurous. I was waitressing. I had no idea how to get there, but I knew that I would not get to be that version of myself that is spontaneous and adventurous if I was still planning every single day to a tee and not taking any risks. So an easy way for me to get into that was maybe I don't have anything on my calendar for the weekend and I'm maybe I let someone else make the plans for once.

Or maybe we spin the wheel and make a random decision on where to go for dinner. Like those are little ways to be spontaneous and adventurous within the bubble that I was currently living. And then of course, if anybody doesn't know the rest of that story, like I did, decide to actually quit my job, trade my car, road trip for three months and travel across the US and be very spontaneous and adventurous. I tend to do that. I tend to make leaps before I'm ready.

And it's all because of manifestation immersion therapy. I just never called it that, but it truly is. I would journal about the life that I want and I still do this. I like write down everything that I want and the energy that I'll feel when I have it and that version of myself that has it and actually take the steps to do it before I feel ready. Because if not now, then when. There's truly never a good time.

There's maybe better times than others, but truly it comes down to you just making the commitment to make it work and just move forward. So there's two different vision boards that I think are essential. And this is something that I started doing even just in the most recent couple of years, and I didn't realize that I haven't heard anybody else talk about this.

And I think it is so, so important and really helpful if you're a visual person like me, I know that at the new year or at your birthday or checkpoints throughout the year year, you make vision boards. I'm sure you've done it. You probably have a Pinterest board filled with pictures of things that you want to bring into your life or what your dream life would look like. And this would be so nice.

And thinking that it's so far away from you and you're putting all these pictures of things external world. And there's like boats and villas and jewelry and ocean views and friends and like everything that you're calling in and you're like, this is so awesome. And then you shut your laptop and you keep living your life And you're like wondering why your vision board is not coming to life when you're doing the exact same things that you've

been doing every single day. News flash, it shouldn't be a news flash. But like if you keep doing the same things you've been doing, you're not going to get the things that you want and that you're manifesting. So we're going to fix that because the traditional vision board is very external world based. You're going to cut out a picture of a mansion and glue it

to the board. You're going to cut out a picture of like shoes and clothes and jewelry and things that you want in the external world that you're trying to call in. Versus. I think it is essential to then after you make that traditional vision board that you need to make an energetic vision board, an aligned self vision board. That's actually what mine is called on Pinterest. I have 2025 vision board, manifestation board, and then I have aligned self energy.

This is different. This is about the internal world of the version of yourself that has all of that stuff that's on your traditional vision board. Obviously, if you were in the energy of the version of yourself that has the things on your vision board, you would already have that.

So there's a gap between the version of yourself now that wants the things that are on your vision board and the version of yourself in the future, probably near future, that has those things on your vision board. So there's a gap between the internal world that you have currently and your thoughts and your beliefs and your values and the version of yourself that has that future life when you make this energetic vision board, I want you to scroll through

Pinterest very freely. I want you to search blue aesthetic. I want you to search clouds aesthetic, water aesthetic, like emotional things you can do, adventure aesthetic you can anything with aesthetic on the end of it just brings up better photos like aesthetic. What would I do? I would do like cloud aesthetic photography or purple cloud aesthetic photography, like whatever you want to just get like photos that make you feel

something. I want you to have a vision board that's like, wow, this is how I feel inside. Maybe it's sparkle for me, it's sparkle aesthetic and bubble aesthetic and, and, and things like that or like rich aesthetic, green aesthetic. Like these are all different things that I've searched to pull up things that that I want. Or you can also add quotes. So my board actually the biggest

difference between mine. So if I were to describe my boards, my traditional vision board has things like group retreat workshops on there. It has the shopping cart of like the foods that I that I want to have in my fridge. It has boats, it has Italy, it has a villa, it has my friends in a villa like hosting a girls trip.

It has airplanes and passports. It has all of the external things that I either want to do, have or see versus my energetic vision board has pictures that represent the internal world of the version of myself that has that. So it has certain quotes that she lives by. It has fitness things on there. She's the type of person that takes care of herself, that prioritizes her fitness routine. It has skin care on there. Like this type of person that cares about her morning and evening routine.

She what else is on there all sorts of things that just make me feel like what? Like this is the type of energy she brings to the table in order to bring that world to life. And that is where vision boards are so amazing because they, they don't show you just what you want, but like who you need to become in order to have that. So quotes, beliefs, fitness, food, celebration, mantras, everything with your internal

world. So you have two different boards and then you can identify the gap like I was saying, so the gap between who you are now and who you want to become. A lot of people think that this is a huge gap. Maybe you're one of those people you've, you see your vision board and you're like, Oh my God, that is so much different than my life now. There's just no way that I could even get there in the next month, year, 2 years, maybe even

five years. You think is a long shot for getting what you have on your vision board, but I need you to snap out of it. Spoiler, it is not that far away. If you actually look at the energy of what are you currently bringing to the table, the energy that you're bringing to the table is what is creating your life right now. So if we can tap into that future version, what does she believe?

What is she doing? Things can move really fast the minute you decide to stop bullshitting yourself and step into the energy that you need to have to bring that to life. It takes a lot of self responsibility. I'm going to say that right away. It's not easy. That's why personal growth, self development, I feel like is so like so fun. I love this manifestation, but it actually comes down to at the core of it, you believe you're not worthy of it. You believe that it's not possible.

Maybe there's negative voices around you and your environment. Maybe your community is not supportive. There's there's gaps there. So you can clarify where that gap is and how you can take tiny actions and also how you can put yourself in the energy that that future version of yourself or aligned version of yourself has. An example that of my life that I did a couple weeks ago to experiment with manifestation immersion therapy. I want to be clear.

I was shaking in my little rather leather jacket. Like I It's so funny how we have this concept of what is above or below us or in our realm or out of our realm or what we're allowed to do and not allowed to do. You have so much free will that you are just giving away every single day. You are choosing to live exactly how you're living every day. OK, We, we all have choice.

Stop pretending that you don't. I went to a mall in Minneapolis called the Galleria. Anybody from here knows that that is kind of the fancy mall, and I decided to just go into Louis Vuitton just for fun. Can I buy a Louis Vuitton bag right now? Absolutely not, Not at this moment. But I walked in there and it was funny how much walking in there kind of triggered some anxiety in me of feeling like I can't go into that store until I can

feasibly buy something in there. There is no rule saying that you cannot walk into Louis Vuitton. There's no rule. Anybody is welcome to walk through those doors, OK, You're allowed to go in whatever store you want to. I think this is just a really fun and approachable way to challenge those limits and those boundaries that you have set up in your head of like what you have permission to do.

And maybe you grew up with somebody saying like, Oh my gosh, I can't believe they would spend so much on a bag. Like I can't believe this is all just Louis Vuitton example. That doesn't have to be Louis Vuitton. It could be anything that you want. Like, Oh my God, I can't believe they would buy that house. And they're only like, it's, they're just a couple. Why do they need 8 bedrooms? Like, I don't know, whatever you grew up with, with the verbiage around money and desires and

what you want. Like if you want a boat, if you want, maybe you want five kids and somebody's like, Oh my God, why would you ever want that many? Like whatever people have projected onto you throughout your whole life can really dampen what you say you desire. So stop guessing yourself and actually write down what you want. Actually claim what you want.

I, I think I have been stuck in this for any time I say, I think if you say I think this like you probably know I know I have been stuck in not claiming what I actually want for I don't know, maybe there's fears there of like people thinking that things are superficial or unrealistic or just unnecessary, but maybe I want a Louis Vuitton person. I deserve it.

OK, so just claim whatever you want and then put yourself in the energy of it. So I was walking through the Galleria and walking up to Louis Vuitton and I felt my heart start pounding. OK, Like I start. I was like, why do I feel like the unpopular?

Like, I don't know, I don't even want to say this, but like the unpopular kid at the party or like I actually, I was feeling like it was bringing up the anxiety that I had the social anxiety from middle school, high school of feeling like, Oh my gosh, like, like, is anybody going to talk to me? Like, should I be here? It was like that kind of that anxiety of like, am I good enough to be here?

Because I know that like my bank account's not not going to support a purchase at the store today, but it doesn't mean that it can't in the future. And that is what I'm calling in. So why would I not put myself in that position to be surrounded by something that I want, like literally surrounded walking in a store, surrounded by something that is just out of out of range at the moment. But it's like on the vision board. So you can do this in so many ways. So this is just a really easy

way to immerse. You do not have to want a Louis Vuitton. This is just like the best example I can come up with right now. But immersing myself in luxury energy before the purchase is possible because then I understand what it feels like to touch the thing, to hold the thing. You know what, I actually paced around. I looked at everything. I took a selfie in the mirror in there. I then started talking to a sales associate and was just like, Oh my gosh, this colourway

is so beautiful. Like how would I act if I were the person that was going in there to buy one? I'd be looking at the colourways. I was like, I'm going to have the audacity to try it on and be like, this one's a little bit too small. I don't know, I'm looking for one that's about X size. And I really like that colourway. But do you actually have it in white? Be the person, act like the person. Do the thing before you're ready to do it.

And it was amazing. Like at the end of the day, it's just a purse. I can get a purse from Target. I'm really not a handbag gal. If I were to have a like all the money in the world, I'd probably buy a lot of sneakers, not going to lie. But just to be in there and put yourself in the energy of like, this is not as big as I'm making it out to be. It is just something that I can have one day and I'm surrounded by it.

I watched people walk in there. I think that was even more empowering is like being around people that are going in there. I watched a lady walk in and compare multiple bags and like she bought one. One of the biggest ones actually, and just like nothing. So if that's not the energy that you're around, it's something you're calling in. You're calling in wealth and abundance. You need to surround yourself with other people that have the mindset of wealth and abundance, OK?

You can't keep expecting to manifest something that you want. When you surround yourself with people that don't believe it's possible or think it's stupid, or talk down about your dreams or don't want to hear it, put yourself in the energy that you need in order to bring your dreams to life. If we're being honest here, we all want very similar things. I feel like it's a very human thing to want freedom. I want a different career, I'm attracting the love of my life, blah blah blah.

Like we all want similar things. We're all very, we're all unique. You are special. But at the end of the day, it all comes down to safety, love, support, freedom. That's always generally the same thing. But when you say you're calling in a dream relationship and maybe you're pinning those photos, like I have some photos on my vision board, I'll be completely honest of like this couple in the ocean and like holding hands on a plane and like we're traveling together.

Cool. Like you can want a soulmate all you want, but it doesn't come to you until you really love yourself enough to attract a healthy relationship. If you're hoping for someone else to give you the support and love and freedom that you desire, that is just going to put so much pressure on them, so much pressure on the relationship, and then eventually leads to you feeling like you can't be yourself in safe without them.

So if you want something that's more stable and you want to call in that person that's right for you, the more you know yourself, the more aligned the person is that's going to come to you. And it's kind of funny because I for a second there thought because so many of my friends are dating a ton. They're they're like going out on multiple dates a week. And that just sounds so exhausting to me. But then I got in my head thinking, Oh my gosh, do I need

to be going on so many dates? Because people say like, as you date, you figure out what you want. And I think that you can also figure out what you want by also living vicariously through them. I, I listen to all their stories and I'm like, Yep, don't want that. Or yeah, that sounds nice. Maybe want that. I'm also a very deep visualization person. So I actually envision the energy of the person that I want with me. Like how do I want to feel when I'm with the person that's right for me?

So then when I'm with that person, like when I meet that person, I remember that energy because I've already played in it. I've already imagined so deeply how I want to feel in that partnership. And I've also journaled a lot, like, what do I want? What don't I want? I've written down the names of all the people that I've dated or or been in a relationship with before. What did I like?

What did I not like? So I have a lot of work on the back end, but I haven't actually gone on a lot of dates. I'll be completely honest, but I know that I can, will, and have recognized what I want when I meet that person. So I just highly encourage you get to know yourself first. Another very common manifestation is a career, a dream job. Like maybe you're unhappy with where you're working right now and it just doesn't seem like that career leap is going to happen.

And people around you are saying, Oh my gosh, well what you have is so good. Like why would you leave that job? It's giving you health insurance benefits and you're making X amount of dollars a year. Maybe that's not what you want, or maybe it it is just enough, but you can see yourself doing so much more. It starts with embodying confidence, leadership, clarity, and networking in the right circles.

If you're surrounding yourself with a bunch of people that tell you that what you have is good enough and you know, why would you want anything else? People would kill to have your position, but you just feel deeply dissatisfied. That's not helpful. And if you're in a friend group or with family and they're saying things like that, it's OK to say. I really appreciate your support. I know how good I have it right now and I'm very grateful for what I have.

But it is OK to want more. I'm giving you this permission slip right now. It's it is OK to want more even though what you have is already awesome. Just because what you have is great doesn't mean that you don't deserve to desire more or desire better. And there are circles for you to immerse yourself in that goal.

Manifestation immersion therapy to immerse yourself in that before you have it. Join a Facebook group, network, go on LinkedIn, find a convention, find a workshop in the city or town that you're in. Find a virtual master class to learn something how? Join master class that's an actual website. Learn something new. Find other people that are interested in doing what you want to be doing. You have that vision board, find somebody who is living that vision already.

What are they doing? Who are they associating with? I would not be expanding at the rate that I am right now if it were not for my friend group in person that is always going after things and always open to brainstorm and hold space for the vision. We do that for each other. But also, I actually just joined a training that I am not going to talk about yet, but I'm so lit up about it. And the girls in that group are just talking about their wins

and what they're doing. And it's just, Oh my God, like so expansive for my mind for people to talk casually about that amount of success. I'm, I'm just blown away and so excited to be a part of that circle. It's so expansive. And there's a lot of people in my life that would be be so confused and just like not they'd be like, what? Like what do you, what do you want to do? So put yourself out there.

One of the things that I live by is the quote, Nothing changes if nothing changes, whether that is your physical state or your mental state. Usually it's a bit of both, but nothing changes if nothing changes. And what you're not changing, you are choosing. So choose a new circle if that's what's right for you. The next thing that people usually want is travel in freedom. People just say I want freedom, I want freedom. What does freedom mean for you?

Is that time freedom? Is it financial freedom? Freedom to spend time with your kids? Is it freedom to travel home to see your family? Freedom to visit a new country? Do you want two weeks of freedom a year and that's enough for you? Or do you want complete location freedom? Get very specific on what freedom means for you and jet setting lifestyles require adventurous thinking. So learn to be more adventurous in your daily life. Like I said earlier, you can do really small things, small

spontaneous things. Write down on pieces of paper anything on your summer bucket list, put it in a jar and every weekend draw a new one out of there and just be like, Yep, this is what I'm doing. Do it without a plan. At least it's something that you have on your bucket list. So something that you're you're interested, something that you

want to learn. If you're in a relationship and you want to have more spontaneity and more freedom and adventure in your relationship, do it with both of your bucket lists. Maybe you both write down individual things that you want to try, see, do in the city. Whatever it is, put them all in a jar and then you draw and that gives you that energy of wanting to leap before you're ready and

just try something new. It doesn't mean that you have to quit your job and get a remote position and like travel every day of the year. You need to just figure out what does that look like for you and how can you embody that energy right now? So what does adventure and freedom feel like for you and how can you call that in right now? With all of that being said, it is very important to stay grateful for what you currently

have. And I say this all the time when I'm talking about my future vision. I'm very forward thinking. I'm very future thinking. And I will be the first to admit that I get caught up in that and forget to express gratitude. But coming back to how great life is right now, honestly, my stress recently has been due to the amount of opportunity that I have.

I'm so grateful that there's so many different avenues and people in my life and I have built so many skills over the years that I have a million different directions I could go. All I have to do is choose what I want to do. That is such a blessing, even when it causes me stress and because I feel like I need to pick the right path. You just need to choose a path in case anybody else needs to hear that like I do. Just choose something and it

will lead you down a road. There's no right or wrong Rd. It's just a road that will lead to another choice and that's life. So practicing gratitude, specifically on Sundays for me, I kind of do a weekly review and reset. I do a check in, I take my planner out. I also have the intelligent change. Best day, best year, that's what is best year journal. So I do a reflection on Sundays and it's just what is the most like the greatest thing that

happened this week? What are three things I learned this week? What steps have I taken toward my goals? And it's just a quick little check in just to be grateful. And I think the thing that brings me back to gratitude more than anything is looking at my Google Calendar. I still Google Calendar, you guys. I'm not saying that I threw that out the window. I just have a lot more white space and I'm comfortable with the white space. I think that's key is I'm comfortable with the flexibility

and spontaneous plans now. And that took work for me, but I reflect and I see what are all the things that I did this week and how many people did I spend time with. I think that's just one of the most important things to me are the relationships in my life, whether they're acquaintances, deep friendships, family. I FaceTime my sister multiple times a week and and my friend Carly that's over in Italy, we FaceTime and make sure to touch base.

I get coffees, I do Co working. So reflecting on Sundays and seeing how many people I actually got to spend time with and chat with, that is what fills my cup more than anything. So I'm always grateful for that and grateful for now. I'm grateful for my space. I love my home right now. And you can still love your present while building your future. It's not an either or. You don't have to be unhappy in order to want to make a change.

I think that is something that is not touched on enough because I feel like there's a lot of pain point selling and pain point triggering in like the news and media and how awful the economy is in the United States and blah, blah, blah, blah, and how people are just so unhappy. You don't have to be unhappy. There doesn't have to be this big deep reason that you want to change your life. You can change it anytime just because you want to, because you're a human and there's other

things that you want. That's it. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. Some actionable takeaways for you today. Make that vision board. Maybe you refresh the one that you started in January. These are all the physical things. This is what you're calling into your life. And then you need to make a separate board. I want you to create your energetic vision board, your aligned self board.

Have that alongside your classic traditional vision board and you will start to see and feel the difference. Remember traditional vision board things that you want to call in whatever that dream life looks like to you, looks like, sounds like, feels like. And then your energetic vision board is who are you? Who are you stepping into that version of yourself? Maybe she dresses differently.

Maybe her habits are different. Maybe she eats different foods, maybe she prioritizes her time differently. All of that needs to go on that vision board because that is where you can take action. That's where you start working on yourself and making yourself into the version of your version of you that is stepping into that dream life, that is creating that dream life. So a couple questions for you. What small immersive action can you take this week to step into

your next level self? Small, small immersive action. Maybe you go on a home tour. Maybe you go test drive a car. Maybe you go for a walk in the neighborhood you want to live in. Maybe you take a road trip to a town nearby. Maybe you can't go far, but you want a road trip more in the future so you take a little trip out of town. It doesn't have to be huge, you

guys. Maybe you go do a pottery class because you want to have more art in your life, keep it approachable and just do something to get yourself out of your current rotation. Second question, are you dreaming big enough or are you playing safe? Be fucking for real, be for real with yourself. Are you dreaming big enough or are you playing safe? And I need to throw this in here because I appreciate and love my friend Anna and roommate Anna dearly.

She called me out because I told her one of my goals and she goes that should be your basement. I felt like I was punched in the gut in the kindest way. I told her my goal and I was like Yep, this is on my wall. This is my goal. And she goes Alexis, that should be your absolute basement of a goal. You can do so much more than that. Like she was almost disgusted that I even said that was my goal.

I I love and appreciate my friend group so much because they really push and expand me in ways that I'm not expanding myself, which is why community is so important. Put yourself in groups that expand you. It is so so so important. I would love to hear how you are immersing yourself in your manifestation this week.
