Episode description

Happy Spooky Wednesday, everyone! We went a bit off the rails this week with some serious stories and some not-so-serious side tangents. To start, Kala talks about the Governor Sprague Mansion in Rhode Island. The political intrigue is high, but not necessarily the reason for the haunting. Nope, you can blame that on a spurned butler and some people that decided it would be a good idea to make a homemade ouija board—no comic sans involved. And Brittany tells us the tale of Isobel Gowdie. This woman was a victim of the witch trials in 1600s Scotland. After listening to her multiple confessions, we are convinced she was born in the wrong time, because she could have made a killing as a YA author. Creative writing for the win. Fair warning, we never expected to talk about the devil’s “member” as much as we did. 📷 Thank you all for joining us this week. We hope you get as many laughs out of this as we did.
