Oct 17, 2017•27 min
Episode description
Blood has a very short shelf life, and in Rwanda--as in many countries--getting blood to where it's needed can be a transportation nightmare. Enter Zipline, which uses drones to deliver blood to the hardest to reach parts of the world. Their first customer is the government of Rwanda, where they deliver blood to hospitals in the entire western half of the country.
