Update on the Hours of Service debate

For years now, truckers, trucking companies, industry associations, safety advocates and policy makers have debated whether the hours of service in any of its versions have done what they were designed to do – reduce fatigued driving. Mary McKenna has a report. OOIDA is encouraging truckers to call their members of the U.S. House and ask them to co-sponsor HR 5417, a bill to fix two problems with the Hours of Service.
