Karl Hudson (0:00)
We're going to go through all of the best SEO experts to follow on Twitter.
I’ll kick it off with Charles Flo. We know him very well — he’s definitely one of the guys I would suggest people follow. He’s more known for being a black-hat SEO, but he actually does a lot more white-hat nowadays. He’s just launched piteSEO.com, so definitely worth following him.
James Dooley
Yeah, on my list, someone I absolutely love following on Twitter is Jackie Chou. Every day he tweets high-level stuff. He does a lot of testing, and I love that he constantly posts his figures — what’s working and what’s not. Strongly recommend anyone follow Jackie Chou.
Karl Hudson
Next on my list is Kasra Dash. Obviously he works closely with us. He does a lot on website recovery and shares great insights. More active on YouTube, but still worth following on Twitter for his nuggets.
James Dooley
Yeah, I definitely would not follow Kasra Dash… joking, obviously.
Well, if you're going to do that, I’ll throw you in the mix — Karl Hudson.
I strongly recommend anyone follow Karl. He has ranked over 46 online casinos — one of the hardest niches in SEO. Founder of Searcharoo, and always pushing the boundaries of what works on Google. Karl Hudson is absolutely an SEO to follow on Twitter.

The next one is Craig Campbell. I’m not going to add James yet — I’ll chuck him in later so it doesn’t get weird.
Craig Campbell is a well-known SEO educator. A lot of people have seen him on stage, and a lot of people can’t understand him — which is understandable because he’s Glaswegian. Even we struggle sometimes when we go out with him. But he’s one of the top guys for SEO training and general industry knowledge.
James Dooley
I’m going to throw one out there — and I’ll butcher his name — Koray Tuğberk Gübür.
He’s the semantic SEO guy. Topical authority specialist. An absolute legend in the industry. He reverse-engineered many Google patents, especially those Bill Slawski covered.
His course is extremely advanced — contextual vectors, macro content, micro content. At first I thought some of it might be overkill, but honestly he’s one of the best on-page SEO minds in the industry.
Definitely follow Koray Tuğberk Gübür.
Karl Hudson
Another guy — well, I may as well mention you now, James Dooley, then I can move on.
James is a great business partner. We’ve known each other for around 10 years. He has lots of SEO knowledge but is especially known for the business side. We share multiple businesses and investments and push each other constantly.
If you're interested in someone who blends SEO, business strategy, mindset, and lifestyle — definitely follow James Dooley on Twitter.
James Dooley
So basically Karl is saying I’m the number one SEO on Twitter!
No, but seriously — I post about SEO, business, mindset and a bit of family life.
Another one I’ll throw out there is Jamie I.F. He posts a lot about affiliate SEO. He’s a young entrepreneur going places. Highly recommend following Jamie I.F.
Karl Hudson
The next one I’d suggest is Kevin Indig. I met him at the Chiang Mai SEO Mastermind. Top-notch guy.
He now offers a private mastermind/newsletter where he goes deep into technical marketing and growth strategies. He used to lead strategy at Shopify. He’s very well known in the ecommerce SEO world. Great person to follow.
James Dooley
For sure.
Next, someone who’s probably better to follow on YouTube than Twitter — but he still shares his videos on Twitter — is Matt Diggity.
Always ahead of the curve, always testing, always pushing algorithm-based boundaries. He covers ecommerce, affiliate, local SEO — everything.
Definitely recommend following Matt Diggity.
Karl Hudson
The next one — I love him to bits — Kyle Roof.
We’ve shared many stories over Southern Comfort and Coke at conferences. Kyle constantly pushes the envelope with scientific testing. He created PageOptimizer Pro, a fantastic tool for on-page and single-variable testing.
Kyle Roof is a great follow. And if you ever meet him, buy him a Southern Comfort and Coke — his favourite.
James Dooley
The next one, very undervalued in the community, is Alex Drew.
People know him as the co-founder of Odis Global, but he’s far more than “the aged-domains guy.” If you meet him at a conference, he’s incredibly intelligent — a true business entrepreneur, great at scaling companies.
Definitely follow Alex Drew for SEO and business insights.
Karl Hudson
The next SEO expert I’d follow on Twitter: Ryan Stewart.
Ryan has a fascinating background — he created an agency and sold it for a significant sum. Now he teaches his Blueprint Method, which helps people scale their own agencies using his systems and processes. A great follow.
James Dooley
Another one — more known for his management and operations skills than pure SEO — is Mads Singers.
He does a lot with staffing and team scaling in the SEO industry. If you're looking to grow a team, improve systems, processes, onboarding — follow Mads Singers. Especially going into 2025, he’s a must-follow for agency owners.
Karl Hudson
Last but not least: Nathan Gotch.
Almost everyone in SEO knows him. He owns Gotch SEO and the Gotch Academy. He’s more active on YouTube, but still worth following on Twitter for his insights. Big shout-out to Nathan Gotch for everything he's doing.
James Dooley
Yeah, for sure.
We could go on all day — there are over 100 people we could list. Jason Hennessey for law-firm SEO, Niche Site Lady for niche-site SEO, and many more. But we had to refine the list.
So that is mine and Karl’s list of the SEO experts to follow on Twitter.
