I mean, it was fun, but it was random. I had a great time. You know.

It's like a complete weirdo, Like for real, I'm gonna here laughing like, Okay, it was a great day. That's what's up. That's what's what about your New Year? What you do? I'm gonna keep it always. Gee, I ain't, man, look like you doing That's why I see. That's how that's how my end my New Year ended up the way it ended up because my dude, like you, I ain't do nothing. and the cold don't get along. And it was really cold, it was, but I had on a dress and everybody with my little peak cold, I was looking out good. we're doing a show right now. This that's something like what you know, what he represented and what they brought to the table. So I got some clips and you know what I'm saying, I'm gonna play these. That's not really the case for a lot of other creators. Man, let me paint this timeline for some people. And I want to start this timeline. And again, we're not here to bash anyone. We love everyone that we have worked with. But I start, I start this timeline with the good people with Complex telling me for nine months that I can't smoke in the bathroom. So we knew that that

was not allowed. Creators, I'm talking to y'all. We are afforded, We are afforded some different rights while we knew that was not allowed for the job that we were doing. Inside of the building, Nigga, they would go build you a smoking chamber if you wanted to smoke a cigarette, if you wanted to smoke a blunt. If you wanted to smoke crack cocaine last decade at a record label and you were profitable, they would find a way to

appease you. That is important here because every time them nigga said to me, why are you smoking in the bathroom? For me, it was a constant reminder of people that were out of touch with culture. I'll put it to you this way, Rory. Three weeks ago, they attacked. They attacked security at complex downstairs, attacked, trampled a man who was trying to break in to that building to get to complex to speak to academics or myself, I being

the famous person there. When people are famous, you have to kind of cater to their notoriety, is what I'm saying. So let's fast forward. I create a show. I do not care what the end credits of that show say. Noah along with Elliott, along with some other people, understand how this show came to Fruition. There wasn't very much to negotiate when I created this show because I just created a show. I mean, it wasn't profitable at all. As a creator. I went into this venture with a

vision for what it could become. What it quickly became was the best hip hop show ever. That dynamic between the three of us on that screen does not exist without everybody playing a part. I think that part from day one was disregarded and ignored by whoever it is that is running Complex. Let me speed this time line up for a little bit. Day one, when I walk into All Complex, I look at their objective. They're at the company's objective on the board to see what it

is they need to meet as a company. I was aware of the company's standing when I got there in month one and month two, I noticed that all of that shit was out the fucking window. Nobody really gave a fuck the way that I did. The money didn't make anybody right or wrong. It just means Joe is a lot more passionate and psychoneurotic and obsessive than some other people. Month three, they come to us and they say, Nike has Vapormax sneakers and we're doing a sponsor integration

or some shit. We need you niggas to wear this. My business mind told told me I knew better than that. I wore it anyway. That's a check, people, and it's not a small check. It is a rather large check. Complex solicits rather large checks. Do they share with the creators? No, fast forward. Spotify calls them. They want to, They want to. They want us to talk about a rap caviar playlist. They want to insert topics for me to speak about Candid under the guise of it being air quotes Candid

for no money or very little money. As the creator of this show. That's a problem, right, So Joe says, no, no, what they said? Fuck you, Joe will do it without you know what Spotify said? Sorry, Complex, No you won't. So Joe, noo. I'm telling you about it. Come company that has now damaged a relationship with one of the top three streaming providers creators. Because I'm not talking to everyone, everyone will not understand what Joe fights for. I'm talking

to the creators. I cannot create a show and you sell the fucking properties of that show without cutting a slice to the niggas that make that fucking show possible. Sorry, anyway, they lose the fucking relationship with Spotify. They keep moving like nothing has occurred. Great, so I can see now you wanting to walk say fuck that you make too

much money off me. I'm not doing this again unless you renegotiate and I get a percentage of Nike vapor of the Spotify bullish story where we are, let me, let me, let me respond to you, so you save some breath where you are. This is the renegotiation. This

is the end of the contract. I thought the complex would recognize what academics and myself as outside entities and vendors have done for that conglomerate, and at the end of the contract they would show that they have appreciated the best year that they have ever had more subscriptions than they've ever had, more audiences now, today, yesterday, today, Okay, I'm an audience. My R show increased numbers for all the shows. Okay, So that was a lot to take in.

It's a whole bunch, it's a whole bunch involved in that. But this man made them fifteen million dollars and they didn't cut them no money. So when when the thing about it is like, it's like the more money you make a corporation, the more that you would expect for them to pay you. Right, he's in a position where he created a lane for them. They was I wouldn't say necessarily, they're they're being in sneaker coach and all of that. But those guys wasn't have y'all watched the

show before. I know we did clips on it on our podcast, but hey, you watched them before, all right, so we did clips. What it was is DJ Academics Joe Buddon had a show on Complex. Complex is owned by verizon Um. The show was called every Day Struggled. The Ashanti clip we talked about was from there, the clip from Safari to Jesus, certain clips I was pulling

from them. We would talk about it. But Joe Budden created the show right, and he grabbed Academics and grabbing the desker for me looking at it because when he say he talking to the creators, he talking to niggas is doing what we're doing. You know what I'm saying that saying loo yo, let's get let's get with bro, let's make some ship, let's get together, let's make some shit go. And then a co operation come in get it and they make fifteen millions and they don't feeding you. Yeah, yeah,

that's what I mean. You don't even get the loaf. Listen them folks getting They went from getting ten twelve fifteen thousand, twenty thirty forty thousand thumbs up on their videos to now they're getting twenty thirty forty thousand thumbs down, like and and then the internet world. If people who don't understand what that means, you don't get as many advertisers, you don't get as many you know, things won't tone

right right. People wanting to promote on your channel when it's such negativity surrounded, they might attached somebody else brand with the negativity. You see what I'm saying, so so so so brands want to stay away from you know, shit like that. But you know what they're saying is Joe Budden saying with M would revote for five million. You know, I hope, hope that's a your thing because you know, Joe Budden is instrumental in this media. He does a good job. You know, I'm saying, y'all need

to check him out. If you ain't, if you ain't heard of anything of Joe Budden, I would, I would, um, I would ask people to go check him out. Here. Real good in this space. It's a real, real unique thing. Now. A couple of weeks ago, we did talk about Cameron and Jude Jude. Y'all remember what so so Cameron basically said it wasn't fun no more. You know, they asked him, why wouldn't he would and that's what that's what's his response. You know, it wasn't fun no more. And and this

was her response back to that. This is what she said back to him, saying his interview on Breakfast Club. Now we're gonna get into this. This is that's why y'all can never jump in here once out of the story, because you know, guys like like they're so tough in every situation when it's always more to the story. Let's see, all right now, he said the reason that you guys broke up was it just wasn't fun anymore. You know.

That was really hurtful to me because um Keim and I had, uh you know, we were really good friends. And he said it wasn't fun for him anymore, and that I was concerned about what was going on Instagram and saying who he was following, and that's not true. Um, I basically was more concerned about a respect level, you know what I mean. There's dick picks up and down my Instagram as well, and I don't like them out

of respect. People were sending you his dick picks. No no no, no, no no no, I'm just saying no no, I'm just saying, like, just as you're in a relationship people, if if somebody has like the Coucia or the Bootya and you liking the pick, then I, oh, Ca'm just like my pick sliding the DM touched it. My thing was, don't do what I don't do to you, like respect me. Because there's dick picks that flopping down my Instagram as well, and I can like them too, but out of respect

for you, I don't do that. So I just wanted the same respect. I don't want to wake up and look at Instagram and you're at a game with somebody talking about all me and my friend. If that's your friend, I don't have a problem with it. I don't have a problem with you being having female friends. But it has to be a respect level. Tell me, hey, babe, I'm going to the you know, to the game. Why do I have to see it on Instagram? And it's

not because of Instagram. It's because of the things that you were doing concerning Instagram, and then you didn't respect my feelings, you know, what I'm saying. So that was more of it. What were you going to say? Cam for the past year was just like basically pushing me away, Like I didn't go to any of his concerts, I wouldn't go to any of his whole things. And I was like, yo, what's up? Like you know this me, like we're like best friends, like peas in the pot,

Like what's up? Oh, you got your own thing going on? You wouldn't He said, I couldn't go. He said I had my own thing going. And I never understood. I'm like, what does that mean? And he's like, now you got your own thing going on. I'm like, well, what happened in the year that now I have my own thing going? Because for the past nine years I've been going to everything and I've been cheering you on and been, you know,

behind you. So what's going on In the same token, I didn't understand what was going on and why I felt that because Cam introduced me to this industry, that me working hard because I worked just as hard as he works, you know what I mean? And I worked like that because I wanted to make him proud and show him like Cam's been in the industry, for twenty years, So if he wanted to sit down and live off the real estate we have in the businesses he have. I want to be able to be like they've sit ow.

I got it, you know what I mean. I'm bringing something to the table as well. I never knew that me going for my education, going for my degrees, working hard as well as like as hard as he's working, was gonna turn into that's not fun. You know. He never told me that. I heard it when you know the snippet I saw on Instagram, and it was really hurtful because I'm like, yo, like you're gonna let go a friendship of fifteen years because you're saying it's not

fun for you no more. I'm sorry. I can't be the two thousand and nine, two thousand and ten juju. We're almost in a new century, like we're going into twenty and eighteen. I can't do it. This thing called life is about elevating and growing and if that makes me not fun, then I'll I'm okay with that. Respect feel huddup because men do like to be double sided. Like if you don't want that woman doing certain things, what's wrong with me saying respect? Me to a level

to where you duty. So you don't do that because you concerned about how I would feel if I saw that. But it's not even with your girlfriends that I don't even probably know of. Maybe I didn't know about them, or maybe I hope she knew about him. You know what I'm saying this, what's wrong with letting her no Communication is the best thing you can have. But the thing is with the Instagram thing, like him going out

with girls and stuff. That was smile she really there was his cry for attention, which men don't know how to just come and say, look back like I'm sport as hell, I'm you saving all of your attention. I've been feeling neglected to your work, you know, just saying it, and then maybe we can find a balance. So instead they go and last shouting like okay, she yet her own thing going off and to start doing me posting

pictures on Instagram he did. She liked it on purpose for to get her attention because she was focused on leveling up. It was nothing like I'm over here worried about another man. I'm trying to get on the level of her. She said, I'm doing this to make him proud. Yeah, and so I respect. I respect. I respect when you understand you as a woman you want to try to get out there and match my hustle, and you know it's appreciation involved in that. I can respect that. You know,

um with this situation, her side of things. See, we gotta always remember both sides are coming from. It's some truth in both for them. But I wouldn't say either one um or one hundred percent the truth. And that's how it usually happens. That's truth. You're a side of the thing, right. So now with women, and especially a woman of her education level, she's able to articulator. He didn't even take the time and articulator. So what he and I understood him. See, certain niggas can understand him

when he said it wasn't fun no more. Did he mean I'm gonna get into that. But I want to. I want I want to, I want to clear, I want to I want to put the I want to put it out there that there is a distinguish. The difference on how to approach was. Her approach was, well, it wasn't really I was trying to She went down through there about all. Listen that what this man in my In my opinion, what he meant was but loved. You don't start to become insecure, like you're showing me insecurities.

So when you're saying it's because I'm bossing up, it's like, nah, I don't invite you to my shows no more because it's seventy five women hollering and I know you're insecure. See, my thoughts have changed on on your outlook, on the situation. When I didn't think you were insecure, you was women the bitches out hidn't mean nothing out of nine years though, Like I'm right, but Instagram, social media has changed things.

I don't care about that. If we got ten years and it's nothing the social media can do not for a woman stand strong, but you can stand strong, but your man may not be he telling her she can't even take pictures with certain people with their arm around her or something like that, when this is business. But how many times I have I said that men operate different.

Just accept it. But now you have to because that's no. We don't say you say say when you getting your car and your gas like pop on ima, motherfucker, you ain't got the accept that. that's your woman of nine years. Why do I have to find out on anything with another woman? And I know about it? That's not a business with a female is not a business. I'm sure that she wouldn't do with her being at her education level like you said, or certain moves that she wouldn't make because she protecting his image or holding him to a certain type of light to where she got to respect him. That's the

same thing she feels. So naw, if I'm on the spotlight and now all of a sudden that you just would random women on pictures and everything, you got to know that's really gonna come in and take what I'm saying. Would you know that you opening up a doorway for people to come to me with things that I shouldn't even have to be understand what you're saying. But okay, so it ain't concern me and process from a different waever, you don't have to listen what cancerns me is if

you heard this interview. I heard that. Did you hear the whole interview? And it's entirety. Let me tell you something about this woman right here. She's totally one thousand percent in love with him and want to be with him us. So when a man is like, damn that offended you, like we tenure in see y'all looking at pictures and then even not even with him saying that, I'm just saying it's something as far as once once you're on another level, once you're on another level, little shit like that that may be okay, nine years ago, he'll like a picture. you got your own thing going on. The problem, I've identified a character flow. Yeah you're not You're not who I'm used to. Once I identify character flow, which is insecurity, and I've been with you all this time, I have a major on a new level, I have a major problem spending my time with a motherfucker right brick by brick by brick by brick, and you ain't got when you ain't ready for the rain, This ain't you wasn't ready for no type of yeah nah, I don't understand that.

And I don't even think she's insecure. The only thing I think she's asking him. And then whatever, be up front, You tell me, You tell me even if I do feel some type of way, even if I do feel some type of way about you doing this with a female, because every woman is gonna feel some type of way

of her man doing business with a beautiful woman. And y'all got you know, may have some little bumps in the past, or whatever the situation may be, it's always gonna be something like, I hope they're really doing business. Even if you're a secure woman and feel like I know this is my man, he's not on if this is what you gotta understand, Golden State. Golden State got
