How do y'all talk/write?

The saying goes "you never get a chance at making a second first impression."  This is so true and sometimes people judge us by the way we look, talk or write.

But with the way the English language has morphed over the last decade, are we seeing misspellings and grammatical issues matter less when messages are being sent?

Does it matter if the message is written vs verbal?
