We are still working on last week’s episode (Week 26) sorry about the wait! This week we are seeing the tension start to really boil with Paul in Judea. We are diving in to Acts 21, so grab your bible and lets get going!
This week we continue with Paul's 3rd Missionary Journey and the road back to Jerusalem. Instead of getting to go straight over to the home Church in Jerusalem, he must pack up and turn around and journey back the exact way he came. Tensions are rising across the world as he knows it, but he is strong and set on his mission to spread Jesus through all of Asia and Macedonia and Rome.
We are continuing on in Acts Chapter 19. Paul has left Priscilla and Aquila in Ephesus and he is making his journey back to Jerusalem and Antioch to the mother churches. As we move through the history and story of Paul's 2nd Missionary journey, things get hard and uncomfortable; but nobody promised him (or us) that it would be easy. Shannon finishes season 5 with chapter 11 of Acts.
This week, Shannon finishes Acts 10 and begins Acts 11- the final chapter in the first half of Acts! She leaves her readers with fiery encouragement to dig into God's word, amidst a culture that discourages faith and growth.
Shannon continues with the second half of Acts 10. She continues to emphasize the importance of the gospel being taught correctly; and encourages her readers to find their audience.
Shannon continues in Acts 10 with Peter and Cornelius, as he is called. She helps her listeners understand that God works through us while still working in us. He has given us an opportunity to be used and have purpose.
