Shannon picks back up after the holiday season in Acts 5! She reads through her notes and thoughts, in order to inspire her audience to spend CONSISTENT time in the word.

Shannon continues in Acts 5, with the story of Ananias and Saphira. This week, she talks about who God is, as Abba father, but also as the powerful, wrathful father. She reminds her audience that it's okay to sit, and ponder, and questions, but to remember that ultimately, Abba Father is in control, and he sent his son Jesus, to bring us lfe.

This week, Mary Shannon wraps up Acts 4 and begins Acts 5, with the story of Ananias and his wife, Sapphira. She reminders her audience that God remains in charge of the world, even when it doesn't seem like it.

Shannon continues in Acts 3, beginning with verse 11. She dives into Peter's sermon and draws parallels between the Old and New Testament and reminds her readers of what it truly means to live out a faith for Jesus.

Mary Shannon dives into Acts 3, discussing the miracle of the crippled man. She also discusses the four attributes of a disciple, and reminds others that fellowship and mentorship are two important concepts to WALK in. She reminds her listeners that we are the continuation of Jesus through the Spirit, just as the disciples once were. How much time have you spend in the earthly? How much time do you spend feeding your spirit? Get up and walk!

This week, Shannon (almost) finished Acts 2. She encourages her listeners to be does of the word, just as the disciples set out to do after the ascension of Jesus. Because of their faith and kingdom attitude, the apostles began their mission to spread the gospel all over the world.
Acts Week 6- It’s Mary Shannon
Shannon continues in Acts two with a recounting of Pentecost and the 12 disciples as they begin their gospel message. She references David while speaks, and discusses a few Psalms, that are often referred to in the New Testament. David reminds us that death does not get the last word, Amen?

Shannon continues to address what's happening in Acts 2, focusing on Pentecost and how that translates to our life with the Holy Spirit. She makes several connections to the Old Testament, and once again shows her audience that the Bible is one beautifully scripted story from the beginning to end.

Acts Week 3- It’s Mary Shannon
Shannon finishes Acts 1 focusing on the disciplines gathering in the upper room after Jesus ascension, which is often overlooked in churches. She discusses the emotions of the disciples, the power of Peter's references to the Psalms, and helps her listeners to understand the purpose of emotion in the scriptures.
