Friday the 13th: Reave Another Day

INT. MIKE'S BEDROOM - NIGHT

JOSH and MIKE sit in folding chairs while TAPAN reclines on the bed, forming an equilateral triangle. They're talking into microphones.

TAPAN
You want to MARRY the rhino!?

JOSH
Look, I just want to be remembered.

TAPAN
Remembered? As the guy who saddled up and rode his bride to the altar?

There's a loud BANG of crashing furniture from outside the room. TAPAN keeps talking.

MIKE
Guys, hold on. Do you hear that?

TAPAN
Was it Josh's rhino wife?

MIKE
No. Guys. I think... I think it's the SOUL BREATHER.

TAPAN
Mike, why are you yelling? It's not the Soul Breather. It's probably just...

They hear the SCREECH of metal on wood as a BUTCHER KNIFE slides under the bedroom door.

MIKE
Oh, shit! It's the fucking Soul Breather, I knew it!

MIKE runs to the corner of the room and HIDES.

TAPAN
That could be anyone's knife. How do we know it's the Soul Breather's?

The DOOR opens. The SOUL BREATHER is standing there, holding the butcher knife. He STABS TAPAN.

MIKE
No! Not Tapan!

TAPAN'S lifeless body falls to the ground. The SOUL BREATHER strafes directly at MIKE, STABBING him. His work finished, the SOUL BREATHER drops the butcher knife. He raises one arm to remove his MASK.

JOSH
May I have the power to take this creature's soul while leaving his physical body on Earth...
