110: Three steps for effective decision-making

Today Mary shares with you a story and some tips, particularly for nonprofit boards, about making effective decisions. Having agreements in advance for the process you will use, especially for high-stakes decisions, helps your board develop as a team.

The three steps address:  defining criteria for high and low stakes decisions, decision making rules, and an assessment process.

Mary has over 40 years experience in the nonprofit sector: 26 as an executive and 18 as a board member. She knows your day-to-day challenges first hand and brings experience and expertise to help you have the greatest possible impact. She has been a consultant and coach for 19 years.
