Episode 28 - 5 on Friday

[00:00:00] Hello. And welcome back to inside the click, your creator economy podcast. Michelle here with five on Friday, highlighting key things going on in the influencer space from this week and under five minutes.

First up Instagram is back at it with more updates. Last Friday, they announced collaborative posts in feed where you can. Enable your followers to submit photos or videos and you can approve them to add to your post. We covered this in a T L D R newsletter that we send out every day. Earlier this week, but it's worth highlighting again here, depending on when they do roll this out, it could be a really good way to engage with your followers and have them share different, fun things that they do or gifts that they buy from your recommendation over the holidays.

Literally yesterday, the platform also announced an easier way [00:01:00] to add song lyrics to your reels, similar to the functionality in stories. All that you have to do is tap to add the song and then swipe left to add lyrics. These update announcements are available on Instagram's own Instagram updates, broadcast channel. Or just follow us and we'll let you know what the change has happened.

Pinterest recently launched a hub for creators to help them succeed on the platform. You can find it@creatorsdotpinterest.com. There are different articles on how to best create content, how to grow and succeed and suggestions of trends to try. They're really leaning into this whole trends bit. They've included a way for creators to submit their pins, to try to be featured within these trends. And they appeal to you by saying that they may share it in Pinterest content and on their socials.

Last [00:02:00] thing we are officially in November. Your holiday planning and posting should be in full swing. College of influence, just released a blog post around, preparing for the holidays as a creator. Nothing too revolutionary in there, but there is an emphasis on mental health and making sure that you're taking breaks, setting boundaries and scheduling content. When you can, you want to make sure you really take care of yourself as much as possible, because this is a wild time of year. We will link the blog post in the show notes so you can check it out.

That's it for your five on Friday. Sales are going to really start ramping up, make sure that you sign up for our sub stack. To stay on top of it because we share sales every day for you to be aware of. Follow rate review if you're new here or if you're not new but have not rated or reviewed it seriously helps so much as we grow Thanks everybody have a great weekend bye
