In this episode, we hear from Bryant Fisher, a cinematographer who has worked on well-known documentaries like Hamilton’s America and We Are Freestyle Love Supreme.

Bryant tells us about his journey into cinematography, from his early introduction to television at Mark Twain School for the Gifted, to Pratt Institute, to his first job as an engineer at Radical Media.

We discuss the transition from technician to cameraman, to cinematographer, learning about Bryant’s first camera role on the David Blaine ABC Special. He’s come a long way, working with names like Matthew Akers and  Lin Manuel Miranda, and is now shooting his first Netflix series set to launch in 2020.
