Established in the wake of the global financial crisis, the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) promotes the implementation and use of the Legal Entity Identifier (LEI). GLEIF is a supra-national not-for-profit organisation headquartered in Basel, Switzerland.
