Episode description

Giles Inkson, Director of Services EMEA, NetSPI

The European Union’s Digital Operational Resilience Act, which comes into force in January 2025, addresses a key issue in EU financial regulation. DORA means financial institutions must follow rules for protection, detection, containment, recovery and repair capabilities against ICT-related incidents. Previously most institutions managed the main categories of operational risk with the allocation of capital, but did not manage all components of operational resilience. Robin Amlôt of IBS Intelligence speaks to Giles Inkson, Director of Services EMEA for NetSPI.
