Access to larger sums of money, shorter loan application processes, and still low interest rates boosted the growth of global commercial lending. The market is projected to reach $30 trillion by 2030. However, banks are struggling to get to grips with digital lending solutions, beset with manual lending journeys, complex data issues and legacy systems. Priya Raju, Director of Cloud Transformation at KPMG UK tells Robin Amlôt of IBS Intelligence that there is an opportunity for banks to leverage FinTechs to resolve these issues.
