Episode description

On this episode of “I did this instead of killing myself,” I interview Colin Keane. Colin has been doing sketch and standup comedy in Greenville for the better part of a decade. He is a smart guy, with a dry sense of humor, and he hates the Broadway musical Cats…a lot. Colin’s day job focuses on the stage: he is a lighting engineer, and he specializes in all technical aspects of lighting for all types of stage productions in venues around town. He has toured around the country doing lighting as well. Colin also worked in the Navy on a submarine as a sonar tech. I thoroughly enjoyed our interview. We talked a lot about Colin’s time on the submarine, debate whether or not Bigfoot exists, discussed Colin’s start in sketch comedy with Craig Holcomb. I encourage you to follow Colin at the links below, and check him out whenever he’s on stage performing in Greenville. Hope you enjoy!
