What’s something that’s exciting and scary? Being a first-time mom! Megan and her husband gave grandparent gifts to break the news of the new baby. There wasn’t a big reveal, they kept it intimate which suited them just fine. Did you know that there’s an app for baby names that you and your husband/partner can use to help narrow down baby names? Megan says that being a parent is the best experienced!

Megan was considered an elderly pregnancy. The U.S. Census Bureau figures show that for the first time, the average age of women giving birth is now 30. A geriatric pregnancy is considered 35 years and older. The oldest verified mother to conceive naturally (listed currently as of 26 January 2017 in the Guinness Records [6]) is Dawn Brooke (Guernsey); she conceived a son at the age of 59 years in 1997.[7]
