Patty Cogswell, former TSA Administrator, moderated a lively, fun, and informative discussion Breaking Barriers: Women in Security Navigating Career Transitions as part of HSDF's Third Annual Celebrating Women in Homeland Security on March 30, 2023.  

Today’s program is the first of a two part series looking at Breaking Barriers: Women in Security Navigating Career Transitions.  This discussion was moderated by Patty Cogswell, former TSA Administrator, and features:  Mary Ellen Callahan, Chief of Staff, Office of the Deputy Secretary, Department of Homeland Security; Kim Hutchinson, Assistant Administrator for Training and Development, Transportation Security Administration;  and Tiffany Sargent, Chief Technologist for Cloud and Enterprise Sales at Intel Inc. 

Listen  as the panelists discuss their personal experiences in making career moves between the public and private sectors; what risks - real and perceived - they faced in those transitions; and other advice they have for women in security-related fields.
