Episode description

There come's a point in every child's life that they realize their parents are simply humans. As a child, it's easy to think your parents have everything together and are superheroes. Yet as you grow up, you realize none of us know what we are doing, including parents. We are all trying the best we can. Sometimes parents mess up. Sometimes you have to have difficult conversations with your parents or establish boundaries. For some, if not all of us, we all have some type of childhood trauma that shaped us into who we are today. There come's a point where we have to decide to face our demons in the face or continue to push them away. In this episode, Madalynne Carratini comes on and shares her story of losing her mom at a young age, going through foster care, and learning how to have a relationship with her father as an adult.
