佛典說：要能夠有收成，那必須主因跟助緣都要具足。主因就是種下種子，例如我們要種稻，種子要種下去；助緣呢？要努力地除草、施肥，還要努力地耕作，最後還要收割啊！不是說放著那邊讓它長一長，自己就有飯吃啦！還是要努力地收割。因此，要有主因、要有助緣，那麼天神只不過是一個助緣而已。
最重要的，還是要靠自己努力 下種去精進修學才成。
