這一則故事提到，有一個人見到了佛，卻沒有把握時機請教佛法，只是請問佛要去哪裡，希望將來有機緣再聽聞佛陀開示。後來，當他想去見佛時卻在半路死了。
佛教講因緣，人與人的因緣有深、有淺，有善緣、也有惡緣。有時候善的因緣當下沒把握，一閃就過了，再也不來了；可是惡的因緣，我們想要甩開，卻永遠纏繞著我們。
所以，人身難得，佛法難聞；時光易度，道業難成。希望大家都能與佛法結下甚深清淨的因緣，清淨身口意，勤學經律論，謹慎莫放逸。
