Episode description

Dr. Taz shares some tips about what you can really do to help yourself and your loved ones during this global pandemic. With all the chaos and confusion surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19), it's difficult not to get anxious and depressed.

Dr. Taz is here to share some tips about what you can really do to help yourself and your loved ones during this global pandemic. For starters, the basics include:

  • wash your hands with soap and water
  • quarantine if you're not feeling well -- even if you don't have "typical" COVID-19 symptoms.
  • social distancing (groups of 10 or less)
  • use a cleaning solution that is at least 60-70% alcohol
  • don't travel unless it is absolutely necessary
  • stay hydrated
  • get fresh air (it's okay to go outside!)
  • try to avoid highly processed or sugary foods, as comforting as they may be
  • find a mindfulness practice that works for YOU (e.g. breathwork, prayer, journaling, meditation)
Dr. Taz also discusses ways to help support your immune system, including using certain herbs and supplements, as well as how to protect your gut health.
