Episode description

What is cloud based accountancy?

Cloud computing accounting software is accounting software that is hosted on remote servers. It provides accounting capabilities to businesses in a fashion similar to the SaaS (Software as a Service) business model. Data is sent into "the cloud," where it is processed and returned to the user.

This means that your accountants can work remotely on your accounts which has been perfect through the coronavirus pandemic for Carthy Accountants. In this video, Joe interviews Aaron Taft, Accounting Technician at Carthy Accountants about the benefits of using cloud accounting over more traditional methods.

"Why is this on the Hacking The Algorithm Podcast though Joe?"

When I was speaking to Aaron about Referral Marketing, I thought I'd bring you some value at a different angle. Plus one of the key benefits is time saving which you can invest more of that time into your brand and marketing.

Benefits of Cloud Accounting:

1) Mobile Access 24/7

2) A Cost and Effective Solution

3) No time consuming back ups and very secure

4) Share and Collaborate with ease

5) Reduces Paperwork and makes your company more sustainable.
