Episode description

In today's episode, I'm talking about what grace is (and what it's not). We hear "give yourself grace" or "extend grace to others" alllll the time. But grace isn't pretending everything's fine or letting people treat us poorly. It's not stuffing your feelings to keep the peace.

Real grace tells the TRUTH, holds boundaries, and stays rooted in kindness. It's curiosity without judgment and staying present when it would be easier to shut down. And yes, grace includes you, too!

If this resonates, I'd love for you to check out our new private podcast, The Draw, if you want to go even deeper and learn ways that will help you start to heal in YOUR own way!

In this episode, I cover:

  • Why grace is NOT people-pleasing, fake peace, or avoiding hard truths
  • Why grace is truth-telling, boundary-holding, and rooted in kindness
  • A personal story of extending real grace to Tom during a frustrating moment
  • Why grace makes space for connection, healing, and growth instead of shame
