Hello, little yogis welcome to our meditation. Find a quiet, comfy place to sit and let's get started. You'll want to have a mirror close by, I'll tell you, and to use it. Invite mom, Dad, big sis or big Bro to join you. This one's going to be fun. Do you know how to meditate? Of course you do. Meditation is just being mindful of what is happening right now. And what is mindfulness? It is simply noticing the present moment. We all meditate every day. It just depends on what
we choose to focus on today. Let's focus on what is special about each one of us. That's right. If you're listening to this, you are the most special you there will ever be. That's something to celebrate. Always in meditation, it's important to breathe fresh news air into our bodies to make room for magic. Close your eyes for a moment. Place one hand on your belly and one on your heart. Feel the rise and fall of your belly as you breathe naturally. Now, notice the beat of your heart. No
one else's heart is beating the way yours is. Right now. These two feelings mean you're alive. What a gift. Together let's give ourselves a big breath in. Breathing in through your nose, fill up your belly like a balloon to the count of three, one, two three, Hold it for a moment, and breathing out from your mouth, empty your belly for a count of three to one. Breathe in for one, two three, hold and empty your belly for three two one. Do this a few times on your own.
Counting in your head helps create a rhythm of breath. When you feel ready, gently open your eyes and place your hands on your lap. Next, with your eyes still open, sit on your bottom and send your legs out long in front of you. You can lean back on your hands if that's comfortable. Your toes should be staring right back at you. Wiggle your toes and slowly start to scan your body from your toes to ankles, up to your legs and your knees. Notice anything different, maybe a
scar or a birthmark you forgot you had. When you notice something, stop right there and stare at it a little longer. Look at it with love and try to remember the story of how it became a part of you. If there's nothing you remember about it, just get it with love. Thanking it for being a part of you. As a kid, I played a lot and fell down even more. I have many scars on my legs and knees that remind me of all the care free and
fearless fun I had when I was your age. Those moments are a part of my journey, and they make me special. Your scars make you special too. Let's keep scanning. Now we'll travel up our legs to our bellies. Oh, look at that. We've reached our belly buttons. This is what connected us to our moms and their bellies. We all have one, and yet no two are the same. Pretty special if you ask me. While we're here, let's bring our hands palms face up, give me a thumbs up. Now,
face the inside of your thumb towards you. Notice all the tiny squirlies your thumbprint is made of, just like your belly button. No two thumbprints are the same. That means almost eight billion people on planet Earth and not a single person has the same fingerprint. Okay, remember the mirror. It's time to stand in front of it. Pause this video and find the nearest mirror. Now that we are face to face with our own reflection, let's start with
a smile. Smile back at the beautifully unique, special human you see in front of you. Do this with a friend or family member to make it even more fun. Inhale through your nose, exhale, flutter your lips together. Do you feel the vibration that your lips send through your entire body. Let's do it again. Inhale, exhale, flood or your lips together. Stare silently at yourself. Notice everything about your face, eyebrows, your nose, your eyes. Maybe you have freckles,
maybe you don't. Whatever it is, it's beautiful and it's you. Prepare to repeat after me. I am special. There is no one who can be me better than me. My talents, my heart, my bravery, my love, it is all so so unique. I am a gift to the whole world. You did awesome. Thank you for simply being you. I'm so grateful to share this planet with someone as special as you are. Choose to have a beautiful day. Choose to have a beautiful year. Choose to have a beautiful life or area Holding u
