Episode 72: William Bowerman. When I first saw Dua Lipa perform, the drummer immediately stood out, and it turned out he was also the musical director: William Bowerman. Fast forward 10 years, and William is one of the most in-demand musical directors in the world, coming out of London. He’s still MD for Dua Lipa, and now his client list also includes Post Malone, Jennie, BLACKPINK, The Kid Laroi, FKA Twigs, Addison Rae, and many more. His work with Dua opened the floodgates, and he’s since co-founded WFB with his wife, creative director Ace Bowerman. Together, they’re building something special. William stopped by my place while he was in LA rehearsing for Coachella with Jennie, and we had a great hang. We talked about his path, creative process, artist relationships, WFB, and life.
