Episode description

Hello Aidan Noone, here and thank you for being with me on this journey.

The question is: " Have you tried it yet, Are you doing it?"   What am I referring to? I'll let you in on a little secret that I find really powerful, empowering and creative.   Well, what is it?

It's getting up early in the morning, rising early. When I refer to early, I'm talking about rising from about 5am to 5.30am. For me, that's when I'm most creative.   My mind is full of thoughts and ideas. Generally, I write my thoughts, and ideas down on paper and if my phone is nearby I'll record directly into a recording app on my phone. I'm not a rocket scientist, nothing like that just stuff, and thoughts that I find inspiring and or motivational.  Stuff I need to pay attention to. Marshalling my thoughts. Organising them, one thought after another. Of course, rising early presupposes that one gets enough restful sleep, the previous night: recommended 7 to 8 hours sleep.  In summer time it's much easier to rise early with the daylight, winter can be challenging.

Anyway, I find rising early, I get stuff done. The back office stuff. Organising my day. Putting things into perspective and you probably know by now that I talk a lot about perspective, and putting things into perspective.  This is so important. Categorising stuff, placing it in the correct pile, the correct box, whether it be a mental file or a physical file, it's important to box it and label it for easy reference later on. I suppose it's all about organisation, organising things as best you can.

I find rising early, my day flows better and I'm much more productive and at the end of my day, generally I know I have achieved something worthwhile and satisfying.

And if you're not doing it, yet, Try it. You might Surprise yourself.
