Episode description

How many of us have fought ourselves over something as simple as resting. Anyone else? It is natural for us to allow time for our bodies and minds to reset, repair, and refocus. However, as Full-Time Black Women, we are always on the go, assisting loved ones, volunteering for community activities, diving into large work projects, etc. Honestly, most of us may have been raised to believe resting is what lazy people do. We need to rid our minds of the stereotypical negative connotation of black people and resting. Let me ask you this.  What happens when you finally have the opportunity to truly rest?  Do you squander this moment of serene silence to find something else to do? Or do you seize the opportunity because you know they’re rare nowadays? Today we are going to discuss how you can fight your programmed resistance to rest and cater to your mood.
