Once you realize you should conduct yourself like a business, the better off you will be in your career journey. Just take a second to think about it this way: If Sharonda was a brand, what would her brand say about her? To be successful in the job market, especially the current job market you have to be innovative and understand your skills and talents are sellable goods and deserve to be marketed as such.
In order to communicate your importance during the interview process or during a meeting to discuss a promotion or pay raise, you have to display what makes you unique. YOUR BRAND!!
Now is the time to realize you have to show your product, i.e. yourself, is better than the other products out there on the shelf.
