Setting Expectations at Home Will  Free Your Time for Business

The episode is a continuation of a previous conversation I had with money expert, LeAndra Foster. We chat about how having a family, especially for women business owners, often disrupts the flow of money in business. 

LeAndra shares some of her personal ah-ha moments after she read the book Fair Play by Eve Brodsky.  She tells me that, "what was wrong with my schedule was that I didn't trust that I could fill my schedule, because when there are hiccups in the system, the family life system, it was my schedule that gave. And so that's a big part of it is setting that boundary of who's going to handle the desert, the disruptions this week, or who can handle the disruptions on certain days even. And just saying, No, my schedule is as important as your schedule. And so I think that that's one big thing."  By learning to communicate expectations, needs, and setting boundaries it's possible for everyone in the house to make money and feel fulfilled.
