Making a plan for what you want to do this year is only step one.  Mary Gaul, a planning expert, shares it's more important to break down each step along the way. This way you set yourself up for success rather than frustration. 

  She points out," So when you're looking at your plan, and you set your goals for the year, hopefully, you've kind of broken them down into smaller goals for the quarter, even the month or the week so that you know how you're moving forward into those bigger year, year-long goals...we don't get to November. And we're like, oh my gosh, I got one month left to the year to get this golden, right.."  Give yourself a leg up for achieving your goals!
