Episode description

In this episode I spoke to playwright, writer, speaker, producer, and lifestyle coach, Trey Anthony. In early 2021, she released her book, Black Girl in Love with Herself, in which she breaks down the lessons and tools that she applied to heal her life.  She also goes into detail about the emotional experience of adopting her baby boy.

Trey is a queer black woman who tried several options for birthing a baby and eventually adopted her baby boy.  She shared her story and a glimpse of how she landed on the adoption option with her previous partner.  She is currently raising her son as a single mom (not by choice).

This episode is the Season Finale for Season 2 of First Time Moms Beyond 35.
