Episode description

In this episode (Part 1) I talk to Kayellen, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.  She helps moms throughout the US on their breastfeeding journey.  Kayellen was very helpful for me during many nights that I went into a panic trying to figure out what I needed to do for my baby from infancy right through to even 14 months.  Since, breastfeeding doesn't come naturally for everyone and their baby, finding the right support is key.  Breastfeeding is healthy for both mom and the baby and the CDC guidelines recommend breastfeeding for at least 6 months.

For this 2 part series, Kayellen, shares with us the importance of having a Lactation Consultant, how maternal age affects breastfeeding, and if there is anything that older first time moms need to consider.

Are you a mom or expectant mom beyond the age of 35?  Older first time moms worried about lactation and breastfeeding can listen to this segment for information from an experienced Lactation Consultant.  Put your mind at ease and listen in.
