Episode description

James Dooley and Kasra Dash break down how BTC lead generation works because business to consumer marketing depends on capturing attention through outbound campaigns and converting intent through inbound search. Their discussion shows that companies grow faster when they combine paid ads, SEO and reputation signals because users trust brands that appear everywhere they look. The episode explains that lead quality improves when businesses track ROI across multiple providers because performance data exposes which channels scale profitably. The conversation argues that partnering with specialist lead generators accelerates short term revenue while in house SEO builds long term stability because both approaches reinforce each other.

James Dooley: BTC lead generation. Today I am joined with Kasra Dash. That is the topic of conversation. So what is BTC lead generation. Kasra Dash: B2C stands for business to consumer. It is usually more outbound. A classic example is sponsoring celebrities. Adidas sponsor Messi. Kids see Messi wearing Adidas boots and say they want those boots. That is outbound. If you run a Shopify or e-commerce store you also have cold calling and outbound emailing. James Dooley: With BTC leads you have outbound and inbound. Outbound includes Facebook ads and YouTube ads. They interrupt people. Someone scrolling sees a pair of trainers and thinks they want them even though they were not searching. Inbound includes PPC and SEO. Can you explain inbound BTC lead generation. Kasra Dash: Every business should have inbound. Even Adidas has a strong SEO presence. When someone searches Adidas running shoes their site appears. For smaller businesses like conservatory companies you want five star Google Business Profile reviews. You want testimonials and case studies. You want YouTube videos. You want a strong website presence. If someone searches conservatory installers near me your map pack appears, your PPC appears and your site appears. That is inbound. James Dooley: If a business owner wants BTC leads there are many BTC lead generation companies in the UK. Should they generate leads in house or use these companies. Kasra Dash: Do both. For a quick win partner with a lead generation company. A good company generates leads fast. Doing it in house takes longer. You might need a team, an SEO agency or a PPC agency. SEO might take six to twenty four months before generating your own inbound leads. James Dooley: If you want BTC leads I agree. Start with some BTC lead generation companies. Try four or five. Track KPIs. See which company gives the best ROI. Double down on the best one or two. Stop using the ones that fail. Avoid long term contracts. James Dooley: Head over to FatRank.com. Fill in the contact form. See whether you qualify for a no-win no-fee BTC lead generation service. If not there is a pay-per-lead BTC service. If you qualify for no-win no-fee it guarantees ROI. Still approach other BTC lead generation companies. Also try to build SEO and PPC in house. Focus on brand building and reputation management so you convert more BTC leads.
