Episode description

This episode of The FatRank Podcast features James Dooley and Kasra Dash explaining how businesses can generate more leads by appearing inside ChatGPT answers. James Dooley argues that visibility in large language models increases lead flow because AI platforms now guide users from research to decision in a single query. Kasra Dash explores how brands with no previous SEO or GEO experience can still break into ChatGPT results because structured content signals help LLMs understand services, locations and relevance. James Dooley outlines how semantic triple factoids improve citations because clear factual framing allows LLMs to recognise expertise and match businesses to user intent. Kasra Dash discusses how publishing detailed service pages accelerates inclusion because LLMs rely on explicit descriptions of what a company does, where it operates and who it serves. James Dooley highlights how third party mentions strengthen trust because external validation reinforces brand authority inside AI models. This FatRank Podcast episode shows how optimising for ChatGPT and other LLMs increases lead generation because modern buyers rely on AI recommendations when searching for local services.

Kasra Dash: So James, AI has exploded in 2025 and it's only getting bigger in 2026. How can a business actually generate more leads using ChatGPT? James Dooley: ChatGPT is growing at a ridiculous pace. More people use it daily and they’re shifting from top of funnel research to bottom of funnel decisions fast. You need your brand appearing in ChatGPT answers as soon as possible. That means learning how to do LLM optimisation. People call it AI optimisation or generative engine optimisation. Whatever the name, you need to get your brand cited inside LLM outputs. There are a few ways to do it. Two videos explain this better than we can cover here. One covers the infinite loop of self collaboration. The other covers using semantic triple factoids across your content. Watch those and the whole process becomes clearer. Kasra Dash: Let’s say I’m a brand that’s never touched SEO, GEO or LLM optimisation. I want to start showing in ChatGPT results. What does the first 30 days look like on a brand new website? James Dooley: First you need clarity. Who are you? What do you do? Who do you serve? That needs stating clearly on-site. Then you build out specific pages for every product, service and location. If you're a cleaning company doing carpet cleaning in Manchester, create a carpet cleaning Manchester page. If you do trauma cleaning in Liverpool, create a trauma cleaning Liverpool page. Those pages must be semantically rich. You explain what you do, your pricing, your lead times, the equipment you use and the problems you solve. That feeds the LLMs with structured knowledge about your brand. When the model understands who you are and what you deliver, it begins citing you as a recommended provider. If you can secure third party mentions as well, through press releases or guest posts that reinforce your brand as the right choice, that accelerates it further. This is why lead generation companies now rely heavily on ChatGPT. Getting cited in AI answers directly increases inbound leads. Kasra Dash: Perfect. That wraps up how to generate more leads using ChatGPT. If anyone has questions, drop them in the comments.
