Speaker 1

Hello, everybody, Welcome into the Fantasy Pros Football Podcast.

Speaker 2

I Ryan Warmley joined not on this Friday morning.

Speaker 1

Look, I usually am by these two, but on this Tuesday morning of Thanksgiving holiday week by Pat fitz Morris and by Derek Browd. It so early in the week that my voice is almost cracking a bit. Fellas we are talking here on a Tuesday ahead of week thirteen rather than Friday, because of the holiday schedule, we are moving some things around. We wanted to hit on some key questions for the Thanksgiving games as well as some

questions for the rest of the slate. How prepared, Debro, do you feel to talk about Week thirteen with Week twelve ending?

Speaker 2

Like what fourteen hours ago?

Speaker 3

Barely? I mean, we were private for this show, and I was like, some of our questions we're gonna get into where we are with certain players, and I'm like, hey, so you know it's a fly by the seat of your pants kind of show. I mean, I'm ready, boys, I mean it's a good time to sit here and talk football because I'm ready for a lot of food on Thursday.

Speaker 1

Man, I was gonna say, we are as prepared as we kept me to talk football We are definitely prepared to talk some Thanksgiving food, as is obligated when you're doing the show. This week of the calendar fits Thanksgiving dinner. We talked a little bit last week on some of the shows about you know, maybe turkey. Some people think it's overrated. I think it's very appropriately related. I think it's it fits very well as the centerpiece of a

Thanksgiving meal. What is your approach to filling your Thanksgiving plate?

Speaker 4

Yeah, a little of everything worm, and definitely a big heaping helping of my mom stuffing. Like and this is from someone who thinks, like maybe eighty percent of stuffing is trash, but my mom makes an excellent version, uses all the turkey organs and stuff makes for a nice, rich stuffing. And this is a recipe passed down from you know, her mom, and I think my great grandmother so time tested great stuffing and Worm, they're these. I know you're not a big cranberry sauce fan, but my

mom also makes these really good corn cakes. And I love, you know, a corn cake with some cranberry sauce over the top.

Speaker 5

Delicious.

Speaker 1

Not a big cranberry sauce fan is putting it mildly I despise cranberry sauce, which is not necessarily going out in a limb. I think a lot of people would agree with that. I wonder if it's if you're like I, A couple of years in a row have made this stuffing. It's pretty standard except where it has choriso sausage.

Speaker 2

Mixed into it. It's really good.

Speaker 1

My sister sent me the recipe like several years ago, and it was like, Hey, you know, you're we're just gonna bring a dish to the family Thanksgiving this year.

Speaker 2

You can make the stuffing.

Speaker 1

Here's an interesting recipe I found and I made it and it was a big hit, and I've made it a few times since It's It was not something I would have ever thought to have mixed into the stuffing, but it turned out really well. So I would recommend that to everyone if you want to kind of get experimental with your stuff in this year. I think stuffing

is the one, oh, one of the Thanksgiving sides. Like I would agree with that it can be hit or missed depending on how it's made, But I think quality stuff is pretty much as good as it gets.

Speaker 2

Deepro what about you?

Speaker 3

Two things that I really want to hit home here, guys. One, if you have a problem with turkey and you think it's overrated, you never had a really good, well done turkey in the sense of, you know, to fry, you can use a greaseless fryer. It all comes down to you have to season the outside of it, and you have to use an injector with it. You have to inject flavor. And the best thing I could tell people is a combination of butter and jalapeno juice, you'll have

the best turkey you've ever had in your life. And number two Southern delicacy. My favorite at Thanksgiving has nothing to do it's toughing, has nothing to do with turkey. It is backstrap so aka benison wrapped in bacon and stuffed with cream, cheese and jalapeno's is the best thing. It is, so tender, is the best thing you will ever eat in your life. You're welcome.

Speaker 1

The other thing with turkey, too, is there's no leftover meal better on Earth than leftover turkey sandwiches with some gravy on there after Thanksgiving. It's some of the best you know, leftover meals you'll have all the year. Before we get off Thanksgiving. Where does Thanksgiving rank for you guys amongst the holidays? You know, for me, Christmas is always going to be, you know, number one at the top.

It was just the most important to my family growing up, and it's, you know, just my favorite holiday of the year.

Speaker 2

I know that a lot of people feel that way. Is Thanksgiving for you guys?

Speaker 3

Number one?

Speaker 1

Is it in that top three, top five? Is it maybe a little overrated as a holiday?

Speaker 3

What do you think, Debra, I think it's Christmas is definitely one oh one. Thanksgiving depending on the year. Is it kind of bounces between number two and number three with Halloween just depending on it. I will say it never drops below three because holidays centered around even though you have to deal with, like, you know, the odd relative that you might see once a year and you

get brought into like the small talk of oh how's life. No no, no, no, no, no, I don't really care about this conversation, and you know all of that. Still, a holiday that's centered around food and football can't drop lower than third.

Speaker 1

Yeah, I think as you describe that some curious eating too. I started to feel like Thanksgiving is very good when you're at the stage in your life where you have a family or you know, are going to visit family, where it's something like Memorial Day. That's a great holiday for like when you're in your twenties and like your friends get together to go to the lake for a long weekend celebrate the start of the summer. Like, I think the different holidays kind of depends on what stage

you are in life. Christmas is always going to be the best for me, and like I said, Thanksgiving is certainly great too, fits where do you rank it?

Speaker 4

Yeah, I mean, like holidays are about traditions and Memorial Day, Labor Day, those can be great days, but like I don't really have any traditions. We've done different things on those days. Fourth of July we used to have a family gathering that was pretty traditional, I guess.

Speaker 5

But so for me it's number two.

Speaker 4

I mean, Christmas is always the king, but like Thanksgiving is a great warm up act.

Speaker 5

It's like going to.

Speaker 4

A great concert where you love the main act, but there's also a really good opening act. A couple months ago, I saw Green Day with smashing pumpkins opening Oh, and like Green Day was awesome, but like I love smashing pumpkins, so seeing them as the opening act was fantastic.

Speaker 3

That's something to be I mean, that's almost co headliners there, FITZI, it was.

Speaker 4

I kind of thought it was at first, but like it was a big anniversary show for Green Day. I think they were doing like the thirtieth anniversary of Dukie and twentieth anniversary of American Idiot. Those were released in ninety four, you know, four, and somehow I have like hijacked Day Thanksgiving dinner conversation into a Green Day conversation.

Speaker 3

That's okay, we could stay here, could stay here. It's a nice place.

Speaker 1

This is going to be a longer episode than usual because we wanted to make it a point to squeeze and key questions for every Thanksgiving game, and because no teams are on FIE, there were just a lot of games to get hit on.

Speaker 2

So we're gonna hit out more games than usual. This is going to be a bit of.

Speaker 1

A supercised episode, so it's all right to have a little bit of a supersized discussion.

Speaker 2

At the top as well.

Speaker 1

We often on the show talk about reacting to the Thursday night game. This week, because we're taping here on Tuesday morning, we're going to react to the Monday night game here Ravens thirty Chargers twenty three. A lot of this game played out pretty much like you would expect in terms of who was kind of getting the fantasy points for you. To me, the real question coming out of this one is what we're doing with the Chargers backfield.

I haven't seen an update on JK. Dobbins's injury. The way they were talking about it on the broadcast, though it didn't look that necessarily that bad when he went out, but the way they were talking about it, from you know, the sideline report from Laura rut Ledge and from the way Joe Buck and Trey Akan were talking about it, it sounded maybe more serious than I had realized. So if Dobbins is out either for a week or for any extent period of time, which can we don't know

yet here as of Tuesday morning. Is Gus Edwards the guy that you're making a big push for de bro Is it Haskins? Is it avoiding this backfield entirely? How are you approaching this?

Speaker 3

I mean, Gus Edwards pops to being the top end of the week based off of because again we're still in the win with the news and what that's going to look like. I mean, if Dobbins is out for the rest of the year, Hell, if he's out for like two to three weeks. Just even looking at this week, assuming that he doesn't play this week against the Atlanta Falcons, and we know that you can run the ball on the Atlanta Falcons, So Gus is probably gonna get fourteen

to seventeen carries. He's gonna be the preferred option in the red zone. I mean, how many times can you just head to the waiver wire and pick up a rock solid RB too.

Speaker 1

Well, this week you can any interest debro In like a flower in Camani videll. I know he wasn't even an activist game, but opens the door.

Speaker 3

Maybe it does open the door, but only in deep leagues. Like, I think it's gonna be mostly Gus, and I know he doesn't have pass game utility, and that's fine, But like I think Haskins and Kamani are probably just gonna play like a tertiary role and probably gonna split up. Like I wouldn't be surprised if either one of them had like four to six carries apiece. And I think when they get in the red zone, it's gonna be all Gus.

Speaker 2

So what do you think fits is there? I mean, he's a Gus for you? Is it the Idell? Is it avoiding this backfield entirely? What are you doing?

Speaker 5

I mean it's gouss.

Speaker 4

But I'm definitely interested by Dal because Gus has Gus is pretty much out of juice. I mean, he is older and he has not looked that great, so I mean he could potentially pop off. For sure, he is going to get first crack and volume often means more than talent at the running back position. But I mean Videll, Troy University's all time leading rusher. I love the guy coming out of college, loved his film, and he was

surprisingly like fast and athletic at the combine testing. So I'm interested in just a little more on that JK. Dobbins injury worm. I've seen what some of the Twitter injury docs have said about it, and it sounds like a minimum. It is a minor MCL sprain, and I think ironically MCL was like the only ligament in that knee that JK. Dobbins didn't tear a couple of years ago. That seems to be the minimum. So even if it is just a minor MCL sprain that's probably at least

a one or two week injury. So I don't think we see Dobbins at all this week, and pretty good chance we don't see him in Week fourteen either, when we have six teams on by. So Gus is definitely worth your while if you're going to Waivers tonight on Tuesday.

Speaker 2

Definitely hoping for the best for Dobbins. He had Gus.

Speaker 1

He had nine carries for eleven yards, and he had an eight yard rush in there, which means his other eight carries went for three total yards.

Speaker 4

So stuff the other thing? Can I just add one other thing? Like the Chargers offensive tackles are terrific with Slater and Alt, the inside of their offensive line not so much. That is a weakness, and Gus is an inside runner. So I mean, maybe this offense might fit fight out a little bit better, or like the strength of the offensive line might fit like some outside zone stuff.

Speaker 3

I'm with you on that, FITZI like, I mean, I don't think there's any to me, there's not even a conversation about who is the better runner at this stage of their career. I think it's easily of Vodell, and honestly, like, I've been kind of surprised we didn't see him running with Dobbins for the entire year. Like what the reasoning is behind that? If it's just better in deference or the great Roman effect, I don't know, but I definitely agree with you that the Badal has the juice and Gus doesn't.

Speaker 1

Do you wear any other quick thoughts on this game besides the Chargers backfield, I mean, again, the ravenside pretty much played out like you would expect. Lamar three for two touchdowns, ran for another. Derek Hennrye hundred and forty yards, didn't get in the end zone, but he has every other game this season. Mark Andrews forty four yards in

a touchdown. I mean on the Chargers side, Lad Muconki Will Disley caught all ten of their targets, but they only got ten targets despite the fact that there were no incompletions over the middle of the field for the Chargers last night. But then you look at Josh Palmer, Jalen Rager, and Quinton Johnston had let's say seventeen combined targets and they caught five of them.

Speaker 2

So I don't know why they didn't go to mcconkee and disleey more. To be honest, I.

Speaker 3

Was Greg Roman preparing for the holiday early, Like did they pop open like the Thanksgiving wine early? Like? Don't. I don't really understand what the Chargers were doing.

Speaker 2

Like, to be honest, the only thing.

Speaker 3

I can make sense out of it is Ladd walking into the week being questionable. The game plan was built around Palmer and QJ and all these other weapons. But when Ladd is carving up that secondary of the entire night and we know that that again that secondary can

be beat over the middle of the field. The way that I looked at that game is this passing attack should have been run through Lad and will Disley, and they were the third or fourth or fifth options in the progressions on a lot of different plays, And I'm just like, what are we doing here? I don't really understand it. Outside of Lad being questionable enter in the game and maybe that shifts how you're game planning this game. I really don't understand what the hell the Chargers were doing.

Speaker 1

All right, let's jump into our key questions. This is our Friday show on a Tuesday. All of our weekly consensus rankings and tiers, which will be updated throughout the week even with the holiday. Those can be found at fantasypros dot com slash rankings. It's all on one spot, making your path to victory clearer and easier. Dive in and let us help you dominate all your leagues with the Multi League Assistant at fantasypros dot com, slash my Playbook or on the Fantasy Football My Playbook app. All right, guys,

we're gonna start off with Bears at Lions. I want to ask you about Caleb Williams and really this offense as a whole. They looked really good against Vikings. Caleb especially second most passing yards of his career, first passing touchdowns since Week six. DJ Moore and Keenan Allen both had strong games as well. Fitz was this a sign of the offense taking a step in the right direction, or do you think they're going to come back to earth in Detroit.

Speaker 4

I mean, I do think it was a good sign that they trusted Caleb to spearhead a really pass heavy attack because Minnesota's run defense is excellent and DeAndre Swift was a little banged up headed into this game, so they led it rip with him. Forty seven pass attempts a season high for Caleb Williams, so the passing volume certainly helped with the good numbers, But this week, honestly, I do think he's going to struggle in Detroit on

Thanksgiving Day. This Detroit defense is just really good. The Lions have They've allowed the lowest passer rating in the league. They have allowed a league low seven touchdown passes, and they have fourteen interceptions. They've allowed the fourth lowest completion percentage. They're giving up six point seven yards per attempt. This Lions d is tough man, So I think Caleb's going to have a rougher go of it than he did against the Vikings on Sunday.

Speaker 1

Deeper, it looks like you've got Caleb ranks his QB twenty two this week, so it sounds like you're thinking similarly to fits.

Speaker 3

Well, I'm constantly still working through rankings. Right now, I'm actually going to give a more pro Caleb approach with this, I mean, live updating this right now. I'm gonna move Caleb up to QB QB fifteen.

Speaker 5

That's ten spots higher than I've got him, by the.

Speaker 3

Way, So I am higher on Caleb this week. And I think that what he showed against the Brian Flores defense and all the blitz packages the design coverages, I thought was I mean, dude, his from what I watched a little bit of his OW two, he was tossing dots the entire damn day man. And I think the big thing that I want to take away from Detroit is that really will help Caleb this week. And I'm not saying that Detroit secondary is not good and they have not played well. They have. We could say the

same thing from Minnesota. The big thing that I want to sit here in highlight for Caleb specifically is that losing their pass rush with Hutchinson going out has really hurt or I'm not gonna say crippled the defense because the defense is still playing well. But since Week eleven with Zadarias Smith being part of that pass rush you have. Detroit has the eleventh slowest time to pressure. They have the sixth lowest pressure rate in the NFL. So I think Caleb is going to have time in the pocket

to diagnose the defense. I think that Thomas Brown has made a lot of smart changes to this offense and looking at Caleb, and I think that one thing that I think continues this week is he leaned heavily on Keenan Allen last week. I think that continues this week because Detroit has been gashed by a slot wide receivers the entire freaking year. They're allowing the most receiving yards per game and the fourth and most fantasy points per game. So I think that there's a lot to like about Caleb.

That we've seen him perform against a tough secondary last week and a tough defensive coordinator. I think he can do it again this week against Aaron Glenn, especially if Detroit's not going to bring up the heat.

Speaker 4

Is Caleb having time in the pocket actually a good thing? I mean, he's he's an outdoor cat. He likes to get out of the pocket and make plays like That's where he's at his best. I just wonder if he can sit back in the pocket and Detroit Scott some dudes who can cover man like that their pass coverage is improved by leaps and bounds over like two years ago.

Speaker 3

Yeah, I don't disagree with that. Fantzy, Like Caleb has had his issues with playing in structure. I think that the way they're running the offense now and we haven't even talked about the other part about this is Caleb now has rushing utility to help pad his floor and ceiling wasn't a part of you know, the diagram earlier in the season, Like did they use that a ton last week? No, But we also have a two game sample. One of those games he had four freaking design rushing attempts.

So could they also bring that back into the mix when we know it's also tougher to run against Detroit. So I'm a little bit higher on Caleb, Like I see the downside, but I think looking in that QB two mix, it's like, who else do we feel really good about? Like Tua going up against the Packers who have a top five pass rush. We got Geno against the Jets. Okay, the Jets aren't playing that great. You got Sam Darnold going against the Cardinals like in the

QB two mix. Considering what we've seen in a Kleb lately and the rushing utility, I'm a little bit higher on him versus some other options.

Speaker 2

Let's go to the second game on the Thanksgiving slate. It's Giants at Cowboys.

Speaker 1

This is a hideous game and is the Cranberry Sauce of the Thanksgiving slate. So I'm just gonna ask you about two the most down to players in this game, Deebro, which talented wide receiver stuck in a brutal offense?

Speaker 2

Do you rank higher in this game? Elik Neighbors or Cede Lamb.

Speaker 3

Easily see ye Lamb. And this all comes back to it's not just the quarterback play, which I mean, oh god, they're both futrid, but guy, I would take Cooper Rush over Tommy DeVito every single day as well as one of these teams has clearly given up, and that is the Giants. They have given up, Like Elik Neighbors coming out getting interviewed after the game talking of I mean taking you know, sideways shots at Brian day Ball, which I don't disagree with, but I'm easily going to ceede

Lamb here. This also just simply put. The Giants have had a terrible past defense the entire year. I don't think that changes anywhere this.

Speaker 2

Week, Fitz.

Speaker 1

I don't know where you had them ranked last week. I think Neighbors was ranked higher than Lamb for week twelve, unless I'm misremembering.

Speaker 2

How do you see it? For week thirteen?

Speaker 5

I had them pretty close.

Speaker 4

I was kind of lower than consensus on Neighbors, so I think I still had Lamb a bit higher, and I've got Lamb higher this week. I've got him Wide Receiver nine and Neighbors Wide Receiver thirteen. Lamb does have eighteen catches in his last two games. Cooper Rush is hyper targeting him, although those eighteen catches have produced only one hundred and sixty yards and no touchdowns.

Speaker 5

That's the problem. He's kind of turned into Wandale Robinson on us here.

Speaker 4

Oh so, I mean not wrong, but he's he's more oppotent, like he could still go off for a big play or two against the Giants.

Speaker 5

No question.

Speaker 4

Neighbors six catches in each of his last two games, so volume hasn't been the problem. My greater concern with him is that since he's come back from his concussion in Week seven, he's averaged five point six yards per target over the last five games and has not scored a touchdown since Week three. So he's getting targets. He's just not doing all that much with him.

Speaker 3

I think it's all quarterback play. It is, for sure talent, but like it's and I don't disagree with you about CD FITZI I mean a five point seven a dot. He just he's turned into a PPR merchant. I desolutely agree with that.

Speaker 1

Yeah, let's get off this game soon. Let's go to the night gave Dolphins at Packers. Key question here. We finally got the Jalen Wattle game against the Patriots in Week twelve. You got eight passes, one hundred and forty four yards and a touchdown.

Speaker 2

On the show I normally.

Speaker 1

Do on Tuesdays each week with Welsh and Erickson, they have been picking Jalen Wattle as a bilo, basically alternating picking him every week of the entire season. It finally panned out at least for one week here in week twelve. So, Fitz, what do we expect from Wattle for an encore coming off this breakout game against the Packers.

Speaker 3

Yeah.

Speaker 4

I was on the Wattle bandwagon with those guys too, and it was nice that, you know, after incorrectly insisting to people for so long that Wattle was due to bounce back. You know, guy was picked sixth overall and had three straight thousand yard seasons to begin his career. He's actually good like it's going to work out eventually, and finally it did so after many weeks of insisting that that would be the case in being wrong.

Speaker 5

So I expect another good game.

Speaker 4

No JayR Alexander for the Packers their best cover corner. I have Wattle ranked wide receiver twenty four. There is one thing that concerns me about this game, though. You've got a team based in South Florida going up to Green Bay to play a night game in late November. Temperature game time, I think is going to be like in the low twenties, so it's.

Speaker 5

Going to be cold.

Speaker 4

Just how well will Tua end his pass catchers handle temperatures they're not used to at all.

Speaker 1

Tua said he's excited to kind of break this narrative when he was asked about it. We'll see if it actually happens. But as you know, he's a guy who obviously not only playing in Miami but college in Alabama from Hawaii, Like just not a ton of experience in the cold weather whatsoever. Deebro, what do you expect out of a Wattle and this passing attack?

Speaker 3

My expectations are a little bit lower than Fitzi's. I'm going to give some credence to the Green Bay pass defense. Like since Week seven, they've allowed the fewest Fantasy points per game to perimeter wide receivers and the six lowest PPR points per target. I think we're gonna see a lot of what we've seen before. I think the Wattle breakout game, which for everybody that has Wattle on their on their team, I mean, yeah, it only took to week twelve, So if we've been riding Wattle all year,

they're probably not sniffing the Fantasy playoffs unfortunately. But with Wattle, like, I think it's a tough matchup. I think that this offense has fundamentally changed. Uh McDaniel and two of both talked about that, like they're seeing so much too high coverage nowadays that it's a lot of low A dot get the ball out. I think this is going to be just a tried and true devon a Chan and

John new Smith game. I mean, Green Bay's given up the eleventh most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends. So those are the two main cogs that I think are going to run the offense. Tyreek Hill, I don't think is nearly like close to being healthy. So yeah, I mean, I'm I've got jam and wadle like I've floated him anywhere between like the low end wide receiver two ERA to the high end three depending on some of the guys that are there.

Speaker 2

Fitz, do you like when your team is playing on Thanksgiving?

Speaker 4

No, because I'm going to be driving back from my mom and stepdads during the game, So yeah, I'm going to have to record the game and go into a a phone blackout for a couple hours until I'm caught up.

Speaker 1

Fits of the racing home. The NFL season is racing along. The contenders are separating from the pack. The one thing that hasn't changed to this season, DraftKings sports Book and official sportsbook partner of the NFL, is the number one place to bet touchdowns. Fade to the corner of the end zone. Speaker 1

The last holiday game I already mentioned it there Raiders at Chiefs. This is on Black Friday. Travis Kelcey had his only twenty point Fantasy game of the season in half PPR scoring against the Raiders back in Week eight. Fits Where are we ranking Kelsey in the rematch against the Raiders.

Speaker 5

Tight end one.

Speaker 4

Other than the game against Buffalo two weeks ago where he had two catches for eight yards. Kelsey's been drawing a lot of targets and catching a lot of passes, and I know, I think Trey McBride is the consensus tight end one this week. I just can't put a guy who has an end zone allergy at tight end one like McBride is fantastic. He just doesn't score touchdowns is the problem. And he's had that problem going all the way back to his college career at Colorado State.

So the Raiders of a lot of the third most fantasy points and sixth most receiving yards to tight end. I think Kelsey's gonna have a good game, and maybe Noah Gray has a decent game too. I don't know if he's gonna have a third straight two touchdown game, but uh, it wouldn't surprise me of Noah Grant some catches.

Speaker 1

Yeah, deebro, do you also have Kelsey is number one ahead of you know, McBride, the Kittle, Bowers, Taysom Hill, you know everybody else.

Speaker 3

Yep, I've got Kelsey number one and the other tight end in this game, Like, I don't care if it's Aidan O'Connell, don't care if it's Desmond Ritter. I've got Brock Powers my tight end two. So then I think all the trade McBride stuff is that is really just a Kyler Murray problem which can continue this week versus Minnesota. So yeah, I think for all the reasons that fits he stated. I mean he put it perfectly. Man, Travis Kelsey is the easy tight end one this week.

Speaker 2

Okay, easy.

Speaker 1

So it's like even a guy like you know Kittle or again the usage we've seen from Taysom Hill or every it's not even close.

Speaker 3

No, I mean Kittle's got to deal with Buffalo who has been, They've been, they've been elite versus dealing with tight ends for multiple years. I think the closest guy, Like if you want to take the dice roll, like for a guy to be in the to or top three, like, uh, maybe it's t J Hockens center, Taysom Hill, but I think Kelsey definitely where's Kelsey rest of season for you, d bro I mean he's definitely top three, He's not is he one? Yeah, he's one. He's one, I mean.

Speaker 2

Ahead of Bowers had a big Bride.

Speaker 3

I mean yeah, because Bigbride like fits he's talking about he's freaking awesome. But Kyler is a roller coaster. Like what version of Kyler are we gonna get on a weekly basis? Like every time we think Kyler is on the on the come up and he's gonna play better, and he strings together a good game and then the next week you're like, all right, let's go Kyler and then he's like, nah, nah, that X Men was double XP weekend. Baby, Nope, Nope, I'm back to playing bad. Nope.

Speaker 2

What do you think fits Kelsey rest of the season ranking?

Speaker 4

I've got him tight end three behind George Kittle and Brock Powers. I'm kind of hoping that Aiden O'Connell rides to brock Powers rescue in a week or two.

Speaker 2

Yeah, that's hopefully you're not putting too much on that. All right, Let's go to question five.

Speaker 1

Titans that Command getting into the actual Sunday sleet here, deepro, what's our panic level on the Commander's offense?

Speaker 2

Coming off their third straight loss?

Speaker 1

Are we dropping Washington players against Tennessee In this week's Fantasy rankings I'm not.

Speaker 3

I mean, if anything, I feel a little bit more encouraged considering what we saw out of Washington last week. Like, I don't think that Jayden Daniels is fully healthy. I know that a lot of it happened on the big play at the end of the game to McLaurin, so people looking at the stat line feeling great in eighty six of those yards came at the very very tail end of the game. But I think seeing Jane Daniels run more tells me more about his health than honestly

some of his performance. And Tennessee is not a pass defense that I'm scared of, man Like since losing Lageria's sneed, which he's on the ir now since Week seven, they've allowed the fourth most passing touchdowns and they're thirteenth in CPOE. So this is not a secondary that I'm scared about at all. I think McLaurin, looking at ranks right now, he is going to be comfortably as like a top twelve to fifteen option this week. And I think Noah Brown needs to be in the flex conversation.

Speaker 2

What do you think fits Are you panicking at all?

Speaker 4

Yeah, I'm a little more concerned than Debro. I'd say my panic meter is at about a seven right now. I just wonder do defensive coordinators now have the book on Cliff Kingsbury and Jane Daniels and Jory Epstein of Yahoo Sports wrote something interesting in an article she did about the Commander's Sunday Night after their loss to the Cowboys. She pointed out that during Kingsbury's four years in Arizona, the Cardinals were combined twenty fifteen and one over the

first nine games of those four seasons. Winning record in Cliff's first nine games across his tenure in Arizona. From Game ten on, the Cardinals were eight and twenty two. So it's almost like people caught up to Kingsbury's offense all those years and it just like didn't work as well down the stretch, and maybe other coaches just kind of crack the Kingsbury code after a while. I still have Daniel's rank pretty highly QB five. I've got Terry

McLaurin down at wide receiver seventeen. That's below consensus. He only has seventeen targets over his last four games, just over four targets a game over that stretch. Noah Brown actually has ten more targets than Terry McLaurin does during that stretch. And we'll have to see what's up with Washington's backfield. Austin Eckler is a concussion, very unlikely he

plays this week. Brian Robinson kind of awkwardly twisted his ankle Sunday, came back into the game, but wasn't really that effective, and it turns out he has a high ankle spray and possible he'll be out two and the Commanders have to turn to Jeremy McNichols in the backfield, and you know, being without Eckland Robinson certainly would not help their offensive outlook.

Speaker 1

By the way, on that Kingsbury stat that goes back to college too, when he was the head coach in college, it was the same thing. He would always start off hot September, you know, first part of our and then he would always finish very poorly. So this has been going on for quite a while at this point, not just you know, in his NFL tenure. You know, Jane Daniels is really good and so you know, maybe he can kind of overcome that as he hopefully gets healthier.

Like kind of debro alluded to it with him, you know, maybe starting to run more if he starts to get better from that rib stuff. But yeah, I'm not sure what the right number is in terms of like on the on the panic meter for this offense right now. The history of Kingsbury like is really weighing on my evaluation of this offense moving forward. Also, just the receivers

aren't that good. I mean, i know they were playing well early on, like when we're all really excited about this offense, but it really is Terry McLaurin and then not a whole lot else in terms of the receiving talent on this team. So maybe that's kind of coming back to to hurt them a little as well. And then Debra, sorry if you've mentioned this, I forget if

you did. But like, in terms of the actual matchup with the Titans, like Tennessee's defense, do you think this is a defense that you know, Jane Daniels can be successful against.

Speaker 3

Yeah, I mean I'm not worried about the past defense for Tennessee. And the other thing, like a thing needs to get brought up here too, is that if Washington wants to have success moving the ball, they're gonna have to throw the damn ball. Like Tennessee's run defense has been elite all year. So I think a lot of this is gonna be laid at the feet of Jane Daniels. Now, you know, we can considering the last few weeks and what we've seen out of this offense, I understand the trepidation.

Like for me, I just want to see out of this offense. And I understand the Kingsbury concerns and I think they're valid. I absolutely think they're valid. Can we get a version of this offense where we get back to throwing the freaking ball down the field? Like, can we get a version of this off And I know that I've come out and said this, like Jane Daniels' health has probably like changed the flavor of the play

calling to a certain extent. But even if he is more limited, like get a guy on a freaking crosser, like let's get some guys like outside of like let's play horizontal raid and like everything's like within five yards of the freaking line of scrimmage, like come on, man, So, like I'm not worried about the past defense. I do think it's a good bounce back spot and I think that looking at rest of season schedule for Washington, I'm a little bit less concerned because I'm not worried about

the Saints secondary Philly is a horrible matchup. I absolutely understand that, but then they get the Falcons and the Cowboys after that. Not worried about either one of those past defenses either.

Speaker 1

Let's go to Steelers at Bengals. Pittsburgh one of the best defenses in football. Joe Burrow has been leading one of the best offenses in football. Who wins the unstoppable force or the immovable object fits.

Speaker 4

I think it'll be, you know, kind of a push. The Steelers did kind of put the clamps on Jade Daniels and Lamar Jackson back.

Speaker 5

To back a couple of weeks ago.

Speaker 4

They do have the second lowest opponent passer raider in the league behind the Lions. They've only given up nine touchdown passes.

Speaker 5

But Burrow is cooking. He's got t Higgins back.

Speaker 4

I've got Joe Burrow ranked QB seven against the Steelers this week, and I know I'm below consensus. I think is census ECRs maybe QB four for Joe Burrow. All that, Yeah, it's just it seems a little high when Burrow does not really have rushing production as an out to rely on him to just do all his damage through the air against a really, really good pass defense.

Speaker 2

So he's currently QB five by the way.

Speaker 4

QB five, Okay, So yeah, I mean, like at QB seven, he's still a no brainer starter for most people. I mean, I'm starting him in a league, expectations are a little lower. I'm probably not going to get the thirty point smash game out of him, but I think he could still have a good game. I just got to tip your hat to how good the Pittsburgh pass defense is been.

Speaker 2

Yeah, what do you think to you?

Speaker 3

Bro Fitsy and I are hand holding, Like, I agree with everything he just stated. Here, I have Joe Burrow at QB seven, like, I've got Justin Herbert above him. I've got Patrick Mahomes above him. I've got Jane Daniels above him. I think Burrow is going to have a solid but not an amazing game. Like, I don't look at this as being any game where we're talking about a Joe Burrow like ceiling performance. Part of this comes down to, like I worry about the Pittsburgh Steelers' ability

to move the ball. If it's like not moon if the moonshots from Russ Wilson are not hitting, then this this offense is very very predictable and very easy to defend. And as well as I think that looking at how this game probably plays out, I do think that if Jamar Chase can get loose versus Joey Porter, then he

can have a big game. I mean, Pittsburgh has the highest single high rate in the NFL Jamar Chase versus at three point one yards per route run thirty one point nine first red cheer, so like he can have a big game. But that doesn't mean that Joe Burrow is gonna have a smash game. But I think this is gonna be a big Chase Brown game. Chase Brown has become I mean, FITZI, you talked about Chase Brown the entire freaking offseason. You talked about how he can

handle volume. You're not wrong. I mean, can we just say this right now and put this out there. Chase Brown is playing a CMC role for Cincinnati. He is matchup proof. Like if he's not getting eighty to ninety rushing yards in every game, he's getting eight to nine targets. He's getting a ton of work and this is quietly a really good matchup. Like I think people look at the Pittsburgh Steelers defense and they say, there's no things in the armor, they don't have any kind of weaknesses.

Speaker 4

Uh uh.

Speaker 3

If you look at them versus zone runs, they have been quietly terrible. So Chase Brown almost fifty nine percent of his runs had been on zone concepts. Pittsburgh defending zone runs seventh highest explosive run rate allowed, twelve highest yards of the contact per attempt, and they're allowing the second highest rushing success rate two zone runs. So part of why I'm taking the ceiling outcome away from Joe Burrow, I'm putting it all in the Chase Brown bank.

Speaker 1

Feed it all right, guys, let's go to Cardinals at Vikings Debro.

Speaker 2

You alluded to this.

Speaker 1

Earlier, but the Cardinals have been a major roller coaster this season for fantasy managers. They're not coming off a game where they scored just six points against Seattle. No players were good starts in that game, mixed besides Trey McBride, who didn't get in the end zone but obviously caught a ton of passes for a lot of yard age. Can they bounce back against a strong Vikings defense?

Speaker 3

I know, I don't think they can. I don't project this to be anything. I think we're going to see exactly what we saw last week. I think this is a big trade McBride game and nobody else Minnesota has been really, really good as far as a run defense, so a down game for James Connor. You look at their coverage structure, they're running too high at a top five rate they have been the entire season. That means

bad things for Marvin Harrison Junior. He has his target share versus too high has dropped to seventeen point nine percent, his yards per route run has cratered to one point four and Trade McBride versus too high almost a twenty seven percent target share two point zero yards per route run. I think this is going to be a mirror image of what we saw last week.

Speaker 2

Fits what do you expect?

Speaker 4

Yeah, I mean we haven't seen the Cardinals have a Grade A offensive performance against a good defense yet, unless we count.

Speaker 5

There blowout of the Jets a few weeks ago.

Speaker 4

And I know some people would have issues with giving the Jets defense that much credit with the way they've played this season. So the Cardinals struggled against the Lions, the Packers, the Chargers. They did score twenty eight points against the Bills in Week one, but they only had two hundred and seventy yards of offense, so it's.

Speaker 5

Not like it was a real fireworks display for them.

Speaker 4

I guess I'm kind of skeptical, just like being on the road, and this Cardinals offense has just been so wildly unpredictable, So who knows. I mean, maybe if Kyler breaks off a couple of long runs, they could cobble together twenty eight points, thirty points, But I don't know.

Speaker 5

I think they're going to kind of struggle.

Speaker 4

And we saw James counter struggle last week, and now he faces another really good run defense.

Speaker 3

Vitci, Where do you have Kyler rank this week?

Speaker 4

Like?

Speaker 3

I can't put him inside my top twelve quarterbacks. Like I keep kind of messing with it, but like, dude, give me c J. Stroud, Jared Goff, give me Anthony Richardson over Kyler Murray this week. Ambo Nicks.

Speaker 4

Yeah, my ranking Kyler strategy has been to just be consistent and not try to like Chase the previous week because that has screwed up a lot of people. So I've got him QB eleven. And I debated for a long time whether to rank him or CJ. Stroud at QB ten and I put Stroud a little bit high.

Speaker 3

Yeah, I've got him at QB thirteen. Like I just I can't get him inside my top twelve. Man, I don't have any faith against his defense for Kyler.

Speaker 2

Let's go to Chargers at Falcons.

Speaker 1

The Falcons looked terrible last time, we saw them getting blown out by Denver, then they were.

Speaker 2

On bye last week.

Speaker 1

How do they match up against what is typically a strong Chargers defense, although one that did give up thirty points to the Ravens last night fits well.

Speaker 4

Bjeon Robinson matches up well against anyone, so hopefully it's a very Bijon centric game plan for the Falcons. The Chargers ranks seventh in DVA against the past fourteenth in DVA against the run. We just saw that you can run on the Chargers. Derek Henry had one hundred and forty rushing yards against them last night.

Speaker 5

They can be run on.

Speaker 4

I mean, it's certainly a respectable run DYE, but I think that's the way to attack them. And I just I obviously have a much higher level of trust in Bijon Robinson than I do in Kirk Cousins, So I would love to see a ground and pound approach by Atlanta in this game.

Speaker 3

Debra emphatically agree like with everything FITSI said, Like I've I've debated all week who is going to be my RB one. Overall, I've kind of bounced back and forth between Bijon and Joe Mixon this week, and I think it's gonna be Bijon And yeah, the Chargers run defense has been exposed in the last few weeks. And Bijon, I mean seventy almost seventy seven percent of his rushing

attempts have been on zone concepts versus zone runs. The Chargers have been eaten alive ninth highest explosive run rate, sixth highest yards are to contact for attempt. I think this is a huge Bjon Robinson week.

Speaker 1

Do you guys like Algier just if you think that it's gonna be ground and pound, will he get enough to be you know, flexworthy?

Speaker 3

He could? Now Now I'll say this, if Atlanta can blow them out, then yes, If this is a competitive game considering what we've seen out of his role over the last few weeks, then no. It kind of depends on the game script.

Speaker 2

Same kind of thought there fits.

Speaker 4

Yeah, Atlanta, even even in a short week where the Chargers have to travel coast to coast, the Falcons aren't blowing out the Charters. The Falcons are just they're not good enough to blow out the Chargers. So no, I don't I don't think Algier gets like more than ten carries tops and I don't think he is flexworth.

Speaker 3

Yeah, I don't disagree, man, Like Bijon has really taken over this backfield, Like he has not played less than seventy one percent of the snaps in each of the last three games.

Speaker 1

Let's go to Buccaneers at Panthers. Bryce Young is coming off the best game of his season, and considering how good the Chiefs defense, is arguably the best game of his career. He looks legitimately like a capable NFL quarterback in this one. And obviously it was a close game. They almost had a you know, they had a chance to beat Kansas City. How is Bryce Young going to follow up that performance against Tampa Bay.

Speaker 4

Fits Yeah, well, he certainly gets a softer matchup. Buccaneers have a lot of the third most passing yards. They're allowing seven point four yards per past attempt. They've given up twenty touchdown passes. I don't know if Bryce Young can ascend to the point where he is something close to a league average starting quarterback, but I do think it's reasonable to believe that Young might look better over

the second half of the season. After a few months of working with Dave Kanellis, who's got this well earned reputation as being a quarterback whisper for the good work he's done with Gino Smith and Baker Mayfield. So those were two quarterbacks who a lot of people had given up on, just as a lot of people have given up on Bryce Young, and now both of those guys are pretty close to league average starters. Baker Mayfield's probably even better than a league average starter right now. So that'

said my Bryce Young optimism only goes so far. I've got him ranked QB twenty seven this week.

Speaker 2

Where do you have him ranked, dee bro? And does his quality game make maybe.

Speaker 1

Make you more interested in some of these skilled players in Carolina?

Speaker 3

It makes me fairly interested in the in the skill players. I think it kind of becomes a mess if we get Jalen Coker playing this week. But I think with Bryce Young, like I've got him a QB twenty four, I'm with FITZI like I have some optimism considering what he showed last week. I don't want to get out over my skis because again it's just a one game sample.

He played extremely well, but we've got to see consistency, and I still kind of wonder if Fitzy, I'm kind of curious where you're at on this, but I still kind of wonder if, like Carolina running him out there as the starter over Andy Dalton for the back half of the season, if he shows promise, is this just a long, elaborate ruse to trade him and still draft a quarterback this year?

Speaker 4

I mean, there are no there are no solutions guaranteed in this quarterback class coming out there, Like there are no sure things at all, zero sure things among the quarterbacks. So I think you have to make an earnest attempt to evaluate him down the stretch and and see if he can be your guy, Because like, I don't think I feel like the Panthers could just dig their hole deeper by chasing a quarterback early in the first round this year.

Speaker 3

I mean that's fair, and I mean, to be honest, I don't think anybody on this show is going to say that Carolina is probably winning anything in the next two to three seasons considering the state of that roster.

Speaker 1

Yeah, Like I kind of think what they should do is with whatever pick they have, just take the best player at whatever position, Like, just take the best player of.

Speaker 7

Talented player because you don't have any exactly, I mean yes, Like, take a cornerstone piece, even if it's an offensive lineman or a receiver or whatever you think it is, whatever position you want to go after, and say, if Bryce Young is taking a real step forward, then getting.

Speaker 1

Talent around him is the smart thing to do. And if he's not, if this is kind of a flash in the pan, and he is, you know, one of the worst quarterbacks of football. Again, next year you'll be right back at the top. And you know, in what could be a better class in the twenty twenty six quarterback class, you can go after somebody there.

Speaker 4

Any Yeah, any team that bypassed Travis Hunter, the terrific two way cornerback wide receiver from Colorado, in favor of any of the quarterbacks in this class is absolutely insane. Especially I mean, well not especially, but like if someone took Hunter's teammate Chieto or Sanders over Hunter, that would be nuts.

Speaker 5

Travis Hunter is a.

Speaker 2

Who is the favorite to go number one? Right now? I've actually looked is it is it Hunter?

Speaker 4

Or is it just I think it is Travis probably and someone's and someone's sitting on a ticket for Hunter to go number one at twenty two to one.

Speaker 2

Oh God, I feel that you shouldn't.

Speaker 4

Yeah, he's he is the clear cut man. He's either going to be a shutdown corner or a star wide I don't want.

Speaker 3

To sidetrack us too much. Can we also have the conversation really quickly? If I'm Travis Hunter, I'm playing wide receiver, and I don't think it's another I don't think it's a close conversation. If you just simply look at the size of contracts for a star corner versus the size of contracts for a star wide receiver, Give me wide receiver money all day, every day.

Speaker 5

If I were the team, I would want him to play cornerback.

Speaker 1

The people who know better than I do like that I trust in their evaluations.

Speaker 2

Say he's a better cornerback than receiver.

Speaker 5

I think so too.

Speaker 3

I mean that's fine, But if I'm Travis Hunter, I'm saying, try me a wide receiver, and if I fail, then I'm gonna go play corner.

Speaker 2

Do you think he'll do both fits?

Speaker 1

Do you think he'll do He'll be a full time corner and then maybe just have like packages to you know, he'll run ten to twelve routes a game as receiver.

Speaker 4

Yeah, what does a typical number four wide receiver play Maybe like forty percent of the snaps. That's thirty percent, twenty five percent. That seems right for Hunter, Like have him play cornerback and let him get out there on maybe a quarter of the offensive snaps.

Speaker 1

Let's go to another game, probably, you know, one of the games of the week, certainly Eagles at Ravens. The Ravens have been one of the best run defenses in football for most of the season. Saquon Barklay, though, is the best running back in football running behind an excellent offensive line.

Speaker 2

We're obviously startings.

Speaker 1

I'm not asking this question to suggest you should get away from him, but are we tempering expectations at all for the guy who has been RB one this season?

Speaker 3

Deepro I'm not only in the sense that I think whatever Saquon loses in rushing efficiency, I think he can make up. In the past game, he has surpassed forty receiving yards in three of the last four games. I think we could see that tick up a little bit. Like I will be betting the over for Saquon's receiving yardage and his receptions this week because Baltimore, Look, they've been a shutdown run defense, but they are giving it

up through the air to running backs. All had the six month receptions and the third highest yards per reception to running backs.

Speaker 2

We've talked about that a bit this season. How while they are shutting down running backs on the ground, they can be had in through the air right the middle of the field, especially that there was wide open against this Ravens defense. So, Fitz, do you see it the same.

Speaker 1

Way where maybe the rushing total will be belower for Saquon, but the overall yard is can still be something that makes managers happy.

Speaker 5

Yep, I do.

Speaker 4

And that's that's why he's still my RB one this week, even though I am going to go out on a limb and say I'll bet the under on two hundred and fifty five rushing yards in this game.

Speaker 3

But yeah, bold move.

Speaker 4

But that is that is the nice thing with you know, the way the Ravens defense has been tough to run on, but they do give it up to running backs in the passing game. So yeah, more than one path to fantasy success for Sequon this week.

Speaker 2

It's still early in the week.

Speaker 1

The only line I'm seeing on the rushing yards so far is ninety one and a half, so not a small number, But I mean.

Speaker 5

How would you guys bet that one?

Speaker 2

I think it depends.

Speaker 1

I think how you see the game playing out. Like I think, if you think the Eagles win this game, then you know he's kind of in their closer, so I think he'll get, you know, kind of a chance to break a long one to go over this number late in the game. But if you think the Ravens win this game it is at Baltimore, then I think, because that's just rushing yards, then I think you probably go under. But I think it's a pretty good line since.

Speaker 3

We're this early in the week. What do you think his receiving yardage prop opens at. I'm hoping in the mid thirties, and I'm gonna bet the over, but I'm kind of curious if the books are gonna be wise to that and like open it at like forty and a half, And to be honest, I'm still probably betting the over. What do you set the line at? Fancy?

Speaker 4

I think it'll be in the low thirties because there have been some games more like I thought the setup for Kamara's receiving prop would be set at like in the forties, and it would be like thirty eight and a half or something, so like, it seems like those are never set as high as you think they should be. So I'll say, like thirty one and a half.

Speaker 3

Worm, do you think are you are on that same spot? Yeah?

Speaker 2

I think that's the right number.

Speaker 1

I would really love it to bet on him catching the touchdown in this game. I think that's likely to happen. His first touchdown score odds is plus four seventy five for the record, but I think he catches a touchdown on this one.

Speaker 2

Would be kind of the bet I would have fun make. Who do you think wins this game?

Speaker 1

Oh? Man, for the record, obviously everybody knows in the Ravens game, I do think the Eagles win this game. I think the Eagles look really good the last several weeks. Honestly, I'm very scared of them.

Speaker 3

I think it's the Eagles, man, They're they're yeah, dude, their defense is like I know, I keep belaboring this point, like, how in the hell do we let Howie pull it off?

Speaker 2

Man?

Speaker 3

Like Quinnyon should not have fallen as far as he did. Cooper Dejean should not have fallen as far as he did, Like to remake your secondary and one freaking draft is just I don't know why we keep letting how we do stuff like this, Like the Eagles defense is playing elite football. If their pass rush was any better, Like I mean, to forget what the offense is doing, their

defense could carry them to a championship. But that that's the only missing partner piece to call them like the best defense in football?

Speaker 2

Yeah, if it's what do you think Ravens laying a field goal at home in this one?

Speaker 4

I'm never going against the Ravens at home in Baltimore, Like not with this team. They're they're just too good and two battle tested. I mean, look at we were talking about this earlier, wh I think before we turn on the mics, about how like every game for the Ravens seemed like it was Scott Van Pelt interviewing Kyle Hamilton after the game last night and saying, doesn't it feel like every game you play is like this.

Speaker 5

Epic game of the lash?

Speaker 2

Yeah?

Speaker 5

Yeah, and another case of that.

Speaker 4

So like the Ravens certainly aren't gonna flinch after like that tough matchup on the opposite coast. Now they come home and yeah, so I feel pretty good about the Ravens here. And yeah, to Deebro's point, back in mock draft season, there was not a mock draft where Quinjon Mitchell fell out of the top fifteen. Yeah, and I think eighty percent of the mock drafts had Cooper de Gene in the first round and everything Sea.

Speaker 3

Threw it all up. Like, I still don't get it, man, Quinyon was my easy cornerback one. He was like you wouldn't talk about, like we go back to the conversation about like corner stone elite level players, like not guys, but dudes that you want to build your freaking team around. Quinnyon has been, was, and is that type of player. The fact that he fell that far in the first round, the rest of the NFL needs to like take a hard look in the mirror and say, what the hell do we do?

Speaker 2

Did Gene?

Speaker 1

I get it a little more because, like I know, the Ravens, for example, they took a corner over him like Nate Wiggins, and they just really loved him.

Speaker 2

They just thought he was the better player.

Speaker 1

But Mitchell falling into the twenties is the one that is like, I just couldn't believe it was watching it on Draft night.

Speaker 2

He's so good.

Speaker 3

I was so ticked off as where we're like we were doing the show and stuff too because I bet the the under on his draft position too. So like as that happened, I'm like the NFL screwing up again. Good lord.

Speaker 1

Yeah, we also might be overthinking in just that the Ravens, like Lamar has won loss against the NFC in his life, and maybe I should be putting more credence into that. Let's go to Sunday Night football before we get to the key question here for forty nine ers at Bill's, I want to ask you guys about your Uber Eats Sunday Night Meals of the Week debro. What must order food to get? You're reaching for your Uber eats app for great game day deals when you think of.

Speaker 3

Buffalo comfort food, man, and that that leads me to spaghetti parm a crap ton of cheese on top of a huge, huge serving of noodles. I mean, can we get any better comfort food than that? And I know we're gonna, you know, people gonna bring up wings and stuff like that. But give me cheese and noodles all day.

Speaker 1

I don't know why de Road decided to step on my answer, but the correct answer is wings. It's the objectively correct answer when you're talking about buffalo. You're allowed to enjoy other foods, but the wings is the wi is the correct one on one. So that's what I will take, is buffalo wings. If it's what about you.

Speaker 4

Well, wings are the buffalo delicacy. But there is another very underrated one, beef on whack, and it is a roast beef sandwich slathered in horseradish. On this it's like kind of a kaiserole called I think it's kummel whack. I don't know if I'm pronouncing that correctly, but it's like this salted.

Speaker 5

Roll with caraway seeds.

Speaker 4

And apparently the legend has it that the person who invented the sandwich went liked the idea. It was like a bar owner, and he liked the idea of the salty bund to get customers to drink more when they ate the sandwich. But it's fantastic. There is a barbecue place. There's a barbecue place near me that serves a beef on whack every so often as a special and I've had it and it's fantastic.

Speaker 5

So that is.

Speaker 4

And apparently the reason this hasn't caught on nationally is because the bread, the Kummelwack bread or whatever, turns rock hard in like a day. So like, unless you have a bakery in your area that makes this bread, it just kind of doesn't work. Like none of these bakeries and Buffalo can export the bread because it's going to be like a brick after a day.

Speaker 3

Damn, I need to go five every sandwich now. I feel like it's a delicacy and I need to go hunt it down.

Speaker 2

Yeah, I've never even heard of beef on wick. It sounds great, though. There you have it.

Speaker 1

Our Uber Eats sent and at meals up the week. Hopefully we are hungry again by Sunday after our Thanksgiving meals on Thursday at Spaghetti parm for Debro, Buffalo Wings for me, and beef on weck for fits. Uber Eats has the best game day deals all season long. Order now for game day all right, guys, key question of this game coming out of their bye week, how will the pecking order look.

Speaker 2

Like for the Bill's receivers.

Speaker 1

Who should fantasy managers be prioritizing between Khalil Shakir, Amari Cooper, and Keon Coleman fits.

Speaker 4

So I've got Khalil Shakir ranked wide receiver twenty eight, I've got Amari Cooper ranked wide receiver thirty eight, and I've got Keyon Coleman ranked wide receiver forty nine, assuming he has recovered from his wrist injury and is able to play. Actually like eight or nine spots above consensus on Coleman. Maybe it's because of the injury that people are sort of fading him a little bit. I'm actually four spots below consensus on Shakir. People are really excited

about this guy. What's interesting is that as the target counts have gone up for Shakir, his efficiency has really gone down. In weeks one through seven, Shaki was averaging only four point seven targets a game, but eleven point two yards per target. In the four games he's played since Week eight, shakuer's averaging nine point five targets a game only seven point five yards per target, which isn't bad, but it's sort of below Shakir's typically lofty standards for efficiency.

I will say, all in all, Shakiir investors, I'm sure are happy to trade a little bit of efficiency for all those extra targets.

Speaker 1

In thinking about Keon Coleman fits, we tend to really like rookie receivers who are coming out of their buy, especially somebody who was this high pick who is tied to this great quarterback. So do you think that there's a chance Coleman kind of takes a big step forward here in the stretch run?

Speaker 5

Yeah?

Speaker 4

I mean we saw him ball out in weeks seven and eight. I think he had almost two hundred yards combined in those two games, and we saw the freaky ball skills that he was known for coming out of college. So it's just a matter of whether he can get the targets when he has to share with Shakir Cooper, Dalton Kincaid if he's healthy. So, but this is a guy who can do damage on on you know, five or six targets. So I'm I'm pretty optimistic. I think

he could flirt with like flexworthiness down the stretch. It's just not a guy you can totally pin your hopes on gs yet because there's so much target competition. But hey, I mean, Josh Allen is the uh, the high tide who lifts all boats in this buffalo offense.

Speaker 2

Deebro, what do you think?

Speaker 3

Yeah, I'm in concert with FITZI here, Like I got Shakira at Weide Recover twenty six. There's other guys that I like above him, like crazy enough as to say, like I like Keenan Allen this week above him. I like Tank Dell above him. I think somewhere in the low end hot low in wide receiver two high end three conversation just based off the target volume into Fitzi's point. I mean, dude, Shakir's adodd is four point three since

week nine. It's just he's being He's being fed all these low a dot targets kind of very much in that Rashi Rice role. So the PPR goodness is there, but he legit doesn't have a red zone role and he doesn't get targets down the field. So it's really just the PPR goodness. I mean really, like we're talking about like the Rolls Royce version of Wanda Robinson right now, which is not a bad thing being tied to Josh Allen, but still it's you know, where's he at on a

weekly basis? I don't think this matchup is nearly as good as other people think. And Cooper and Coleman, it just comes down to like, are they freaking healthy? Are they going to play? Like? What what's their snap? What's the route share look like? So for them, I'm still kind of in the win with my rankings, but I don't see probably either one of them eclipsing like mid wide receiver three low what receiver three territory? This week we'll.

Speaker 1

Wrap up with Browns at Broncos Monday night. I'm actually gonna go to this game. It will be my first game checking out Broncos live in person at the Denver Statives.

Speaker 2

It'll be fun.

Speaker 1

We've talked a lot about Nicks this year, also a lot about the Denver backfield. One the player we haven't mentioned as much as he probably deserves, especially lately, as Courtland Sutton double digit fantasy points in eight of his last ten games, including five in a row. Three of his last four games. He's been a top seven wide receiver. Fits should we be giving him more credit? And where are we ranking Sutton against the Browns?

Speaker 4

Yes, we should be giving him more credits. Do you remember that weird Thursday night game? In Week seven where the Broncos played the Saints and the Broncos kind of steamrolled him. It was like thirty three to ten, but Sutton had zero targets in that game.

Speaker 5

It was weird. They didn't have to throw a lot.

Speaker 4

I think Nicks had like twenty five or twenty six pass attempts in that game, since they were kind of curb stomping your Saints in that one, deebro.

Speaker 5

But since that, oh the way.

Speaker 3

That's all I gotta say.

Speaker 4

Since that game where Sutton didn't draw a single target, from Week eight on, he is averaging seven point two catches a game, ninety three point four receiving yards in a game with three touchdowns over a five game span, Wide receiver two in Fantasy points, and wide receiver four in Fantasy points per game. Since we gain so apparently that that shutout game lit the lit the fire for Courtland Sutton. He has been a true Alpha receiver for the Broncos over the last month.

Speaker 5

I've got him ranked wide receiver eleven.

Speaker 1

Yeah, the last five finishes for him. This is in half PPR scoring. Wide receiver twenty six, Wide receiver seven, Wide receiver seven, Wide receiver twenty seven, wide receiver two, So I mean three of those games again top seven finishes. He's currently wide receiver twelve in ECR by the way, So the rankings are you know, kind of catching up to what's been going on with him, Debro, where do you have him ranked and kind of what is your takeaway from seeing what he's done the last several games.

Speaker 3

I've got him at wide receiver twelve. I think the conversation for him this week starts at wide receiver nine. So I think a lot of respect needs to be put on him as well as Cleveland, Like we need to have a really on conversation here. Cleveland's past defense has been newhere close to what they were last year, Like since Week seven, versus perimeter wide receivers, they're allowed the fourth most receiving yards per game, the fourth most

fantasy points per game to the position. So I think this is a week where Courtland Sutton is going to eat like he's been doing. And I know this isn't part of the conversation, but I'm I'm injecting Devon Vailey into this conversation. Boys, like we got to talk about him as well, Like he has played a prominent role in this passing attack got almost a twenty two percent target share, and Cleveland since week six is allowing the fifth highest PPR points per target to opposing slot wide receivers.

So I've got Courtland Sutton comfortably as a wide receiver one this week, I am going to have Devon Valley in the high end wide receiver for territory, and I think people need to be considering him as a flex play, a strong flex play.

Speaker 2

We'll wrap up on that game.

Speaker 1
