Hello, friends, and welcome in to Fantasy Pros. This is the Fantasy Football Podcast. I am Chris Welsh. That is Pat fitz Morris, and this is the Week twelve Ranks RB Show. That's right, we got running backs galore. We're going through the whole thing leading you into the playoffs. That's what you need. So we're going through the RB tier ones, twos and threes, the favorite plays, where the ranks differ, and how it all adjusts to ECR. Mister Pat fitz Morris, I have a little info drop for you,
so I know I think you're aware. We do a ranks contest.
Correct, I've heard of it.
Okay, good, you're pretty good at it. We got some good people that have been on it. Let's give a shout out to the top three and fortunately is not us. Let's give a shout out on the Ranks contest each week all of the industry. They're out there, they're ranking, and we try to give a little celebration to who won per week. In week eleven, shout out to Scott Smith from Rodo Viz for being number one in rank accuracy. Number two is Nate Markham from Fantasy and Frames and
Chris Raybond from the Action Network. That is your top three, but getting into the top ten is the one, the only, the great and powerful Pat fitz Morris ninth in the accuracy ranks this week, and I believe number one in QB. So you were the QB whisper of the week. What what was the magic sauce?
How did you.
Make this beautiful rank accurate setup happen?
It was funny. I got a lot of grief after we did last week's ranking show about not having Russell Wilson high enough. Just didn't like that. Everyone loved the matchup against the Ravens. It's just uh running the ball as in the Steelers DNA, and they're always going to try to do that. I don't think Ross has had more than thirty pass attempts in any game this year. I continue to fade CJ. Stroud. I'm just not feeling great about their offensive line. So, yeah, it was a
good week for quarterbacks. It didn't feel like I had a good week elsewhere, but maybe it was a better week than I thought. Wide receivers. I had a lot of whiffs at wide receivers. Hopefully I see.
It's funny. That was where I like shined a little bit this week. I believe I was eighth overall in wide receiver ranks, but small shout out to me, I did finish twenty sixth, so you know, top thirty for the week. I'm gonna take, Yeah, any claps we can give for me. I'm not Pat Fitzmorris on the ranks or Mick Chilella, who unfortunately we don't have on the show today. We're going to have Mike a six on
the overall. I'm not that, but hey, if I get a top thirty performance in there, I'm going to do it, and at the wideout. So the rank accuracy, you guys maybe don't necessarily care as far as just maybe following people, but we've always got the ranks available for you. Fantasypros dot Com slash rankings each week one hundred and sixty hundred and seventy eight to two hundred whatever it is.
Consensus rankers from around are creating this rank. They're putting in their weekly ranks for how these guys are going to perform for that week. And the rank accuracy contest is fun because you can find the most accurate people and you can go and jump in to your favorite
people or find new ones. So go and check out the ranks fantasypros dot com slash ranks, and if you follow us on the socials at Fantasy Pros, we will tweet out we'll do the top ten and everything and fits is going to get tagged in this week, which will be mighty nice. We are going to be jumping into the ranks this week. But first I want to give you something. Yes, thank it's not Christmas yet, but

Allen Bill's helmet courtesy of Pristine Auction Fitzy. Let's get into the RBS. Let's get into Week twelve. It's crunch time, baby, it's big. Also point out if you're playing in like FFPC, this is it. This is the end of the regular season this week, in week twelve, because then you go into a playoff in week thirteen and fourteen. Fifteen through seventeen is championship Round. I am happy to say I have locked in one championship. I have two FFPCS, the
Fantasy Pros Online Championship. I have one confirmed lock into the championship round because I scored the most points in my league. I'm locked into second no matter what. The other one, I am locked into a playoff spot, so I'm hoping to get both of my teams in there. So it's crunch time, not just for the playoff run, Fitzy, but it's crunch time because there are places whether you did you know the big Millie Best Balls or places
like FFPC like this. This is go time for playoff runs and or making that last little push here as trade deadlines end ended as well. So are you ready to jump into these RBS.
Let's do it.
Let's roll. Let's look at the big board on the RBS for this week, coming in at number one. We've got Sakuon Barkley, Christian McCaffrey that you're one two. That's pretty standard. Devon ah Chan drops at number three in the consensus ranks this week. Joe Mixon, Derek Henry, Jamiir Gibbs, Ken Walker, Kyron Williams, James Connor, Josh Jacobs rounds out your top ten with Jonathan Taylor and David Montgomery. And yes,
another good showing. I don't know how many showings we've had of this, but both Lions RB's coming in as RB ones. I know they've been like starters the whole time, but it's usually like Jamior Gibbs and David Montgomery has a little bit harder of a time breaking in the matchup against the Indianapolis Colts is the greatest of all time. You just they are one of the worst run stoppers
out there. So just as a quick aside, not that we need to spit in too much time on the RB one territories, but like David Montgomery, he's been the little bit of the outside guy to Jamiir Gibbs. He's as much of a start, if maybe not more than Jamiir Gibbs this week, correct.
I think so. Yeah, as you said Welsh, the matchup is fabulous. The Lions are playing so well. They get their rushing opportunities every week. Like neither of these guys get cheated on carries in any given week. You start like either Bucky Irving or Rashad White, and you're not guaranteed double digit carries with either of those guys. With these guys, it's just a matter whether they get like
twelve or nineteen, so they share goal line work. So yeah, it's been pretty lucrative to be in the Detroit running back business this year.
How about this one guy, let's talk about in the big RB ones or give a little bit more of a breakdown. It's James Connor and James Connor is interesting to me, going up against Seattle, it's an a start sit rating we have like ratings and matchup grades. We give it a three star grade on here against Seattle. But as much as James Connor was a work horse early on, there might be this slow, little like takeaway from carries as you're moving into the latter parts of
the offseason or the actual season. Tray Benson has been kind of a popular name. I know Ericson was talking as a bye we had on the Bicell Trade Show was trade Benson right now. I don't know if there's any room where you're sitting, James Connor, but I guess what I want to ask you is what's your comfort level? Because I feel like there's a little bit of a trend that people think maybe James Connor is trending down. Yet he comes in at nine because he's going up
against the Seahawks. Do you buy that nine rank?
I do well. I feel no worse about James Connor than I did early in the season. And while they are mixing in more of Trey Benson lately, it still works because Number one, the Cardinals are one of the ten run heaviest teams in the league. They like to run the ball aggressively, and the offense overall is playing well like Kyler has. Kyler's a little erratic week to week, but for the most part, he's been playing at a
pretty high level lately. So that's sort of the tie that lifts all boats in this offense, Like it helps Connor if Kyler is playing well, and you know, gives him better touchdown opportunities and everything. And I don't think it's the worst thing that we see James Conner's workload managed a little bit. He's an older back who's got a long history of injury problems. Probably not a bad thing that he's not getting twenty five touches every week.
Yeah, I mean from the fantasy owner, the selfishly doesn't want to see him go down to fifteen from like a real life workload standpoint. To keep him out there, the fantasy owner might want to be like, hey, you know, if you want to keep him in your lineup, you need to kind of take down the carries a little bit.
And you do want to keep him in your lineup, because, unless I'm mistaken, the Cardinals have a terrific schedule for Connor in the fantasy playoffs, so he is a guy you want healthy in weeks fifteen through seventeen.
Let's move over to the RB two range a little bit more conversation here. These are Rby's thirteen through twenty four, according to Fantasy pros ecr coming in at thirteen. I'll be honest with you, I kind of thought this guy might sneak into the top twelve. Tyrone Tracy. He almost did. He's in at thirteen. Brian Robinson with another one of those really great matchups against Dallas. He's at fourteen. Aaron Jones,
Ramandre Stevenson. I believe Vermandre is given the only five star rating inside the top twenty four going up against the Miami Dolphins. He comes in at sixteen. Naji Harris, Chuba Hubbard, DeAndre Swift, JK. Dobbins, Kareem Hunt, Bucky Irving, Rashat White, they're back to each other, and Tony Pollard all the way down to twenty four. So quite a
few names we can talk about in here. Let's talk about Chuba Hubard though, Cuba coming off of the buye and Jonathan Brooks is going to be active, so you know the two elements of it. Well. I guess the second element to really focus on one guess there's the bye coming off of that. Jonathan Brooks is active? What does that really mean? The more concerning thing, I think dramatically more concerning to his fantasy value this week than Jonathan Brooks is he's going up against the Kansas City Chiefs.
That is the thing that really kind of lowers that value. He comes in at eighteen, that you've got him at twenty. What do you think is the more prominent piece of the conversation? Is it Kansas City? Just you know, and also this offense is just kind of a struggle. Do you think Kansas City decimates his ability to put up big production or do you think Jonathan Brooks takes anything significant away coming off of the buy where that would be like a typical space where teams might start to
adjust offensive game plan. So which one is more prominent to hurting him this week matchup?
I'm less concerned about Jonathan Brooks. I think Brooks just kind of takes over that minimal role that Miles Sanders had. Miles Sanders is banged up. I don't think he's going to play this week. Yeah, just there's no incentive for the Panthers tea Use Brooks heavily coming off the major injury, didn't have any of training camp, just getting his first taste of NFL action. They're not going to give him a dozen touches right out of the shoot. I'd be
pretty shocked by that. And Cuba's been able to put up Fantasy points all year and play really well despite the limitations of the Carolina offense, So those things are not big factors. The Chiefs defense is a big factor. I mean, this is the best run defense in the league that ranked number one in DVA. They're averaging They're giving up only fifty two point two rushing yards per game to running backs and three point one yards per carry, So it's just really hard to get anything going on
the ground against the Chiefs. That's kind of my biggest concern. Cuba offsets a little with his pass catching ability, but still not a great matchup. I guess that's why I'm behind ECR here.
Yeah, this would be a great week to be able to avoid Schuba Hubbard. I know, just not everybody has that with these weird I gotta tell you, I hate Week twelve thirteen fourteen buys. I hate him. I mean, like Derrick Henry going out in week fourteen is crazy to me, and I just hate these weeks. So I'm saying that to say that, like, not everybody's going to have the option, especially if you hit on Chewba Hubbard.
It also seems like a prime situation if this were earlier in the year where they were going out against the Chiefs and Jonathan Brooks was coming back, it would be like the most prime go buy Chewba Hubbard rest of season type of thing because there's two negatives, the bad performance that'll likely happen, and then people thinking Jonathan Brooks is going to pop up. But I'm in agreement with you as far as the rank goes, I think
he's got to be probably sub twenties. But there's just you know, we're going to be affected that, like we're gonna have to probably start him in some instances there might not be better options. We're also not laying out a lot of better options. I mean, the guy's ahead of him right now, Najie Harris, Romande Andandre Aaron Jones. Those aren't a lot of guys that you just picked up off the wire and that you can just throw
out there when he comes in at RB eighteen. We spoke about the Chiefs, let's talk about the Chiefs running backs. Maybe the final week that Kareem Hunt ranks as a top two RB. Maybe we have not got an official word. We do know that Isaiah Pichecko should be ready to go, but there's a possibility with the week thirteen that maybe they hold him back, don't play him at all, and maybe it's just really short stended. So I guess the question is is how and what is your read on this?
It's a great Carolina matchup. Kareem Hunt ranks twenty one. Do you have him at twenty one? And then the additional question is like do you think that Isaiah Pichecko can be relevant if active this weekend?
I think I've got a bigger gap between these two guys Welsh than ECR does. I've got Hunt up at eighteen and I've got Pachecko down at twenty nine. I just I feel like the Chiefs, especially with their record, can sort of afford to slow role Isaiah Picchecko. Here
they're playing the Panthers too. I mean, it's not the toughest of Matt, so I kind of think it's going to be a lot of the same old, same old with Kareem Hunt and maybe just a slight reduction in usage, and they sort of bring in Pachecko's like a change of pace back. It's going to be interesting to see how they handle this, though. I mean, like, at what point does Pichecko pass Kareem Hunt in value? Maybe it's
game two, maybe it's game three of Pachecko's return. I don't think it's going to be in game one though. The good thing though, if you are contemplating playing Pachecko in a deeper league, he's going against the Panthers, so he might be able to give you a decent point total on seven or eight carries. If that's the case.
They say he's active over under nine point five touches.
Five, Boy, that's pretty spot on. I'll maybe I'll maybe go under, but it's uh, okay, it's really close to that's a great number.
And I feel like that's like Pachecko is kind of fool's gold, Like I don't think you're in a scenario and hopefully you've done enough that you don't have to put them out there. I have them in a league and I'm hoping to get to see a tiny bit out of this. I would worry that this takes the top off of Kareem Hunt, just to Tad as well, if they want to get some few carries. If Pachecko
is inactive. To me, Kareem Hunt moves up to top fifteen, maybe top twelve, to be honest with you, against Carolina if there's no thought of any carries being taken away, I think kaream Hunt moves up if Pacheck go's out there. I'm just holding it back just a tiny bit because the thing that would be killer is they end up putting Pacheco in in a goal line situation. But I think you don't want to start Pachecko and this is looking likely, or that this might be the last week
that you really want to start cream Hunt. But you know what, coming back from that type of injury, maybe we never see Pachecko get over ten to twelve touches per game and they just have a full complete split between these. And I think that's what's tricky is people assume Echo just comes out and becomes a no brainer starter. We don't know that yet, and my hope is we get to see a little bit of what that might
look like. This weekend so we can make better, more decisive decisions in two week thirteen and on next RB here is Naji Harris. Naji Harris comes in with an ECR of seventeen, and you are quite a bit lower. As a matter of fact, I believe this is the lowest of the backs you've talked about. You've got Naji Harris in at RB twenty two this week going up against the Cleveland Browns, So talk to us about your low rank and why on Naji Harris.
I need to capitulate here. Well, I'm gonna be moving up nase probably shorty ECR. Yeah, I just Nag's workload has actually increased since Jalen Warren came back from his knee injury. Nause has had at least eighteen carries in
four straight games. He only had eighteen or more carries in two of his first six games, and yet somehow he's getting more work with Jalen Warren back in the lineup, and Naj's only averaging two point nine to seven yards per carryover his last two games, but one of those was against the Ravens, one of the better run defenses in the league. This week, he is up against a very middle of the road Cleveland run defense and middle
of the road might be a generous description here. Well, so, yeah, I've got to move him up, like he needs to be in the top twenty, so I'll be moving him up at least two spots.
Okay, Wow, that's right where I was gonna ask this week. Naji Harris or Kream Hunt.
Yeah, I think I'm gonna I'm gonna move him past Hunt.
So that would be seventeen, because didn't you say you have Hunt at eighteen?
Or I guess now I've got him. I think he might supplant I think he might supplant Hunt at eighteen. Bump down, Yeah, bump down Hunt and bump down like JK. Dobbins, who's got that tough matchup against the Ravens. I guess I would bump on Chubo one. So yeah, look at this well shired. I love the live pressuring pressure of all Naji Harris up in my rankings and I'm.
Not actually, if anything, I'm more pure pressuring Kareem Hunt maybe to go back down a little. It's just it's so hard with the Carolina Panthers one. But ye, Naji Harris, I'm I'm I'm game with however you want to make that move, I think that's probably the play. Jalen Warren just hasn't run enough into that if they were playing from behind like that was my logic of last week, maybe liking Nase a little bit less and Warren a
little bit more. Is if you've got a defense where they're gonna be passing a bit more like that work and they're gonna be playing for theoretically playing from behind, which they weren't, Jalen Warren would have been a better play. But yeah, I think this is a good spot for him.
I mean, naj just gets He gets the ball on a high percentage of his snaps, probably a much higher percentage than Warren does on his snaps because Warren is playing a lot like they are basically splitting the snaps. But that's the thing. While and one of the things about quarterback last week we just talked about this where people were really into ross against that Ravens defense that
so many quarterbacks have lit up. I just ahead of feeling that the Steelers were not going to abandon their offensive identity and they love to run the ball, so I'm not too worried about two guys being a part of this running game. There's room for both to contribute, and Nause is clearly the primary contributor.
In the top twenty four of RB's. There are two teammates that make it. We said, Jamir Gibbs and David Montgomery. They're the clear they're RB one's. As a matter of fact, the only other duo is the Bucks running backs. And you have Bucky Irving and Rashad White at twenty two and twenty three respectively, which feels very like people rank. They're just like, I don't know, I don't know what to do. You just got to put them here. Do
you think that's right to put them so close? Do you think they both belong as RB two's And do you think it's correct that Bucky Irving is the RB above Rashad White. You have Bucky Irving just throwing out at twenty four, so you're a little bit lower than consensus. So this will be the answer. It's literally going to come down to Rashad White. Do they both belong in the the top twenty four and is Bucky the top dog of the two.
In half PPR. I've got Bucky at twenty four and White at twenty five, and I flip them in PPR, and I think I've got White like twenty three and Bucky like twenty five there or something like that. So I do think Rashad White's a little more valuable. One thing to consider here, so much of the Tampa Bay offense ran through the backs while both Chris Godwin and Mike Evans were out. Obviously Godwin isn't coming back, but
Evans is expected back this week. Maybe the offense looks a little bit different and we get more verticality with the passing game, and they're sort of back to you know, I think Kate Otton is still going to be prominently involved, but I'm guessing Mike Evans is a pretty good bet for double digit targets in any given game going forward now that he doesn't have his running mate Chris Godwin around, So maybe that takes a little bit off the running
backs plates here. I still think they're probably both going to be pretty involved as pass catchers, but Bucky's had fewer than ten carries in three of his last four games. Like, I love the player, and the Giants run defense isn't that daunting a matchup this week, But I feel like RB twenty four is a pretty reasonable ranking for a guy to split backfield like this.
Yeah, yes, I was going to say, let me raise your Mike Evans vertical threat, and I will raise you giants starting Tommy DeVito and maybe never being on offense ever, and it's just always the Bucks. And if the Bucks were to get ahead and find some success early the second half, it is just a presumption here the second half could be a little bit more on the ground. I kind of think you did say it right though,
And I hate hedge situations. This feels very hedgy where it's just like you can just kind of start both of them. You want one to move out, But I think Rashad White could be the guy early on. And if they do get more of a lead and they want to slow down the pace or they just want, you know, they three touchdowns, then it's just Bucky Irving just kind of pounding the ball. Well, they both can
be relevant. I kind of feel like this could be one of those where maybe they eat into each other enough that it just neither one of them gets in the top twenty four. But I actually think as much as I've been pro Bucky Irving there might be a slight lean to me to Rashad White to maybe get him going running a tiny bit more catching the ball early on. He might be the guy that, like many weeks, gets the touchdown early on and then Bucky just gets
a little bit of volume here. But maybe the Giants they're not on offense enough and that just gives more opportunities for both of these guys. So pretty good plays this week.
Right, Yeah, and boy, wealch, it's a good thing for you that our colleague Joe piece of Pia wasn't here to hear you be smirch, Tommy kottlets on the Giants. I mean, he would have given you a good tongue lashing for that.
Any What he would have call was his cousin, sal what's that guy? You see that meme? And he's just like, hey, tell him we're back up that meme of his agent as cousin or whatever or agent. Yeah that guy. Yes, phenomenal, absolutely phenomena. That guy is brilliant. All right, let's talk about the RB three's. But first, the NFLC is rolling
along and the contenders are separating from the pack. The one thing that has not changed this season draft Kings Sports Book, an official sports betting partner of the NFL, which is the number one place to bet touchdowns. Fade to the corner of the end zone, running back breaks through the line and gallop sixty yards to score. We don't care how they get them. We want to bet on touchdowns and DraftKings is the best place to do it.
Go and find where the bucks lie. Both probably plus money is at this point with Rashad Y and Bucky Irving. Kareem Hunt if there is no. Isaiah Pacheco is a phenomenal bet for anytime touchdown going up against the Carolina Panthers. You go do the research, check them out, bet your favorite players and make some money and do it at DraftKings. And here's a reason for new customers to do a touchdown dance of their own. RB's twenty five through thirty six. We kick it off with Dallas Cowboys, Rico Dawdell, Austin Eckler, Javonte Williams, Nick Chubb, Jalen Warren, Odrich Estime thirty one is Isaiah Pacheco, who've been talking about Justice Hill, Jerome Ford, Trey Benson, cam Akers,
Roshawn Johnson. The one thing that should st out. Those RB twenty fives through thirty six look absolutely different than those thirteen through twenty fours, and I know that's like a rank range, but it is a dramatic shift of player.
The shift kind of starts in that, like, I mean, even Tony Poller to twenty four feels a little bit more comfortable, but then you jump down to Rico dud Or twenty eight yards rushing last week, Eckler can thrive, but there's still Brian Robinson and going through there's a guy that I want to talk Actually, let's talk about him right now, and then Adric Estimate. I'm gonna move
this one up to the top. I was very anti Adric Estimate last week and that paid off from the betting angle and hopefully nobody making big decisions by putting him in the lineups because he had one week of carries. They keep talking and the week before they had said hot hand, Estimate had the hot hand. He was working. This is why we did that completely went on the
other direction of it. They still talk that they want to get him carries, but this is a three ugly three back system for a team that has not successfully on really all season. I see hodrig Estimey at thirty and I go, what are we doing? What are we doing putting him here. I know it's against the Raiders, but Javonte is at twenty seven after Oddrick Estime disappointed like that. I can't believe he's even in the flex range.
Do you think that's a too dramatic though? Do you think Adric Estimate we got to give another shot if you were depleted at running backs, He's someone you could put out there, because I look at the guys below him, and I just I don't know why the case of even I've Drone Ford led in snaps, Roshawn Johnson got involved in the offense. Cam Akers is getting more involved in the offense. I think at this point the upside is with Estime, but the floor is with the rest
of those guys. But tell me I'm wrong.
Well, if we didn't have six teams on by Welsh, I think we're looking at Odrich Estim closer to being running back forty. So I think for most of the Estime investors who are contemplating the possibility of starting him, it is a matter of have to and not want to. It is undeniably weird that Sean Payton swerved us uh the way he did in week ten. Estimate out snapped. Javante Williams twenty six to seventeen had fourteen carries to
Javante's one. It did kind of look like estimate, it's a planted Javante as the primary early down back for the Broncos. Not so fast, my friend, as our buddy leek, orso might say. Last week, Javonte thirty two snaps nine carries, four reception, only fourteen snaps for Estima, although he did get six carries three receptions. Yeah, I mean, like you
get a favorable matchup. So maybe if the Broncos, who suddenly look like a you know, close to a top ten team in the NFL, if they can get a lead and grind away, maybe there's enough work for Estime or you know, maybe he does get that the hot hand treatment from Sean Payton for him to get you eight or nine points. Maybe he breaks off a long one, maybe he gets into the end zone. Maybe there's room for a little more. But yeah, like it's not a
sure thing. He could also get three or four carries and you know, completely lay an egg for you.
When I look at they say hot hands, Davante Williams is going to get the first shot at a deef at a matchup that we all kind of suit is like, really, well, well if he succeeds early, he's going to kind of roll with that. You know, it's a hail Mary type of throw. But I guess my my negativity towards it is more about, like, if you guys are asking, quite,
I don't think it's a big question. Like the reason you start Estimated this week is because like, oh, the by apocalypse destroyed me or I have nothing else, Like that's why you used to. Honestly, that's why you start the guys blow. The only reason Roshan or cam Akers, these players are started is because it's like, I'm absolutely forced to. So I just don't think Estimate belongs in the questionable conversations. If it's between Estimate and Javonte Williams,
I'm going Javonte Williams. You've got Jontay at twenty seven, So I think you agree with that.
Yep, I do. And you know, maybe four spots apart is closer than it should be. You can make a case for that for sure. But yeah, I think Estimate will have a role, But I do think Javante's clearly the better bet.
How about Rico dawdle Rico Daddell comes in at twenty five this week, probably another case of a player that you know, gets pushed up a little bit more to Bye weeks. The Cowboys just kind of a disaster on this game. You know, he's still the primary guy. They seem to keep going there, though. I will say on the back half of that Dallas game, you saw more Deuce Vaughan, you saw Dabdell just coming out of drives. They had a little bit of Ezekiel Elliott. Take that.
I mean, you tell me what that is. But this whole workhorse Rico daddle thing did not happen in that game. Though they were it was close enough that it's like they decided they weren't running the ball, and maybe that's what some of it was. But then duce Van got some carries. So I don't know, you tell me twenty five. He's going up against Washington four star rating on Fantasy Pros. You are lower than consensus as well, So talk us through Rico dawdle.
Ye and you can run on Washington. But man, I'm just kind of horrified Welsh by what the Cowboys offense has looked like with Cooper Rush replacing Dak Prescott. The Cowboys have scored sixteen points in Rushes two starts, and yes, Rush did drove for over three hundred yards, but it was a lot of garbage time and I think that's kind of why douce Vawn factored in. You would think the Cowboys would be leaning into their running game a little more with Cooper Rush at quarterback, but that really
hasn't been the case. Down On had twelve carries for fifty three yards in Rush's first start, ten carries for twenty eight yards in that Monday Night clonker against the Texans. There's only been one game this season where Rico Dowdell has had more than twelve carries, so he still doesn't have a touchdown run this season, although he does have three touchdown receptions, which is sort of odd. I just I don't want to start Rico if I don't have to. Unfortunately I do have to in at least one league.
But it's just, man, this offense is just so sickly without Dak Prescott.
Okay, so let me ask you this one. We actually have this. This is funny that it's like this. We have a rank incorrect thing on our sheet, so I can lit legit assets without knowing or Javonte Williams this week we had them on our sheet. It's the same number. They're both at twenty seven. So who would you rather?
Yeah, I've got Javonte one spot higher.
Can you imagine making that decision? Yeah, I'm gonna have to play Javante And the only other option was Rico. That's why you sleep at night by starting those guys. And that's where that stark difference comes into play that I was talking about when you move off like Tony Pollard is trending down, but putting Pollard out there, you can chalk that a little bit more up to the game than having to play Rico Dawdle. The only other one to talk about here is Austin Eckler. Austin Eckler
is in at twenty six. You are higher. You actually have him as an RB two. This week he's going up against Dallas Cowboys. Brian Robinson takes the top off a little bit, and sometimes they'll run this three system with McNichols and everything. But talk to us about Austin Eckler and where you think his value lies the most. This week he might be the quintessential of all these guys in this range that I'm like, gross gross growth. Eckler's the one where it's like he's the true epitome
of like a flex option. To me, he's kind of twenty five because I feel like he starts that tier of like, all right, just do it half PPR, full PPR. You love him a little bit more. There's touchdown upside. You know he's gonna get touches. There's an argument to maybe like Eckler more than Dowdell, but you tell me.
Yeah, that's it. I mean, there's a chance Eckler gets three or four carries for you. But he already has thirty one receptions this season. And Eckler faces the Cowboys. They've given up the sixth most receiving yards to running backs this season. They do not do well against pass catching running backs, and their run defense is bad. So whatever amount of carries Austin Eckler gets, there's a pretty good chance he's efficient with those carries. Maybe he does
get into the end zone. So yeah, not ideal that he's in a split backfield. And we know that Brian Robinson is the early down hammer for Washington, but there's still a role for Eckler, and you know he was able to have a pretty good game last week with Robinson back, I think he'll do okay here, so I don't feel bad about having to flex him in a six team bye week.
RB's it's not pretty with the bypocalypse. There's not a lot of depth and there's not a bunch of big plays. Hopefully we covered the majority of the guys that you had questions on, but there might be more, and especially if you're in a dire situation.
