38. Pancakes, Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi (w/ Dave Hause)

Phil & Jake are joined by singer-songwriter (and bud-of-the-pod) Dave Hause to pile up the tall-stack of the the List of Every Damn Thing by ranking pancakes, Bruce Springsteen and band Bon Jovi.

• “Blinded by the Light” was written and originally recorded by Springsteen, but everyone knows the Mannfred Mann version best. Springsteen and Patti Smith share writing credits for  “Because the Night” but it originally appeared on her album. “Born to Run” is all Boss, baby.
• Here's the Kroll Show song about the Poconos that Phil talks about. There's a recurring segment in Kroll Show called Pawnsylvania which is a reality show about two cousins (one from Philadelphia and one from Pittsburgh) trying to manage each other's pawn shops. A lot can be learned about the two cities from it!

• Here’s the TV commercial where Dolly Parton endorses the twelve-hour workday.
