Episode description

In this episode:

  • Letting yourself FEEL it

  • Knowing when to ask for help

  • Figuring out what you can LEARN

  • Choosing GRATITUDE in the hard times

It’s NOT always going to feel good.

Nope. Even from me, super optimistic & positive me, you know I’m gonna tell you how it is and the truth is sometimes its going to be crappy.

Building a business, chasing our dreams, having people that don’t get it, showing up to our everyday life, to our relationships, to trying to GROW as humans - that stuff is MESSY & it doesn’t always feel good.

Fundamentally I think we all know that it doesn’t always feel good, but sometimes we doubt ourselves & spiral to this really dark negative place. We’ve all been there, haven’t we?

BUT, what we have to remember is that we don’t have to STAY there. We can CHOOSE to be grateful for what got us here & for every blessing in our lives.

Today I wanted to share a couple of tips that I have found helpful for pulling yourself OUT of that dark place & GROWING through what you are GOING through. I really hope this helps girl, because you can NOT be the only thing standing in your way, right?

Quotes:

“When I fall down, there is something that I am supposed to find when I am down.”

“As humans we do need that full contrast of emotions to have the full human experience while we’re here. Our one shot on this planet, we want to have the full experience.”

“The lows remind us how beautiful the highs are. They give us this amazing perspective on our strength, on our ability to push through, our resilience. That’s a muscle girl, we gotta build it.”

“Don’t rob someone else of the opportunity to help you.”

“Try your freakin best to look at this & say, what can this teach me? What can I learn here?”
