People likely voted for this episode because the game is named after diarrhea. I'm sorry to report that there's not as much bodily function talk in this episode as you'd think there would be. Although this might come as a relief to most of you.
This game isn't bad, but it's really not for us. You play as a monster who wants to grow his garden, which means going into little pocket dimensions to make friends to bring back home. This turns into a message game about how to be a better friend to yourself... but it's all very basic, and the writing clangs on our taste. So instead, we talk about some strange encounters Gary recently had in Portland.
There are some nice things to be said about the original Silent Hill movie. It has pacing and script problems, but its production design is both high quality AND faithful to the games. When it came time to make a followup, they whiffed every single aspect of it. Sharon from the first movie is all grown up, and Silent Hill wants her back. At least we think it does, it's very self-contradictory.
This week we continue playing the excellent Soulsike Metroidvania game Grime, heading through the rock nursery of Lithic before meeting the godlike Shidra and venturing into the meaty, nervy bowels where the Feasters dwell.

This direct follow up to RE7 is a love letter to the series, featuring an impressive array of bosses and locations that evoke the series high points. A god incubated by pain and hate creates a paradise of blood and rust around it, and that's what Harry Mason must run through to save his daughter. This classic survival horror game didn't just start a series, it influenced the aesthetics of most horror games that came after it. Though the series wouldn't find its legs until Silent Hill 2, this entry is still worth your time, and it's a great deal of fun to talk about.
