Everyone has Green Flu Fever, or Green Fever Flu. Something like that. And it's a hard time in the big easy for 4 charismatic goofballs, shootin' and slashin' their way through a horde of zombies and equally charismatic "Special Infected." This incredibly generous game encapsulates the first entry in the series, and proves an excellent example of Valve at their finest, both in terms of design and after launch support. It's the rare competitive game that can get two beta boix like us to sit up an...

While Rusty tries to force Dean to walk in his footsteps, Hank inadvertently proves that he would make a top notch secret agent. Meanwhile, some dumb and bad stuff happens with Phantom Limb. Funny enough, it was the most misguided port I could think of. Which isn't to say that the mini version of Max Payne isn't impressive in its own way... It's just frustrating to always get killed by enemies who are off-screen.

It's hard to choose the way you want to die. But this wasn't the case for Arthur Emerson... too bad he can't remember doing it. One day the swans and cats start acting weird. Then the fog rolls in. Then he remembers a night long ago when he rambled down the cramped streets of an Italian city, and met a man who spoke of a strange being: Cynothoglis. "The Prodigy of Dreams" was published in a collection of Thomas Ligotti stories called Noctuary in 1994. It's impossible to get ahold of, as Ligotti ...

There's something wrong with the Graham family, and we really recommend watching the movie first to learn what that something is before you listen to this recap of the film. Hereditary is one of the scariest movies we've seen, and talking through this family drama that takes several wild turns before going completely nuts has only caused us to appreciate it more. This movie gets an unreserved recommendation, just be ready for some big swings.

One of the least functional games we've covered acts as a springboard for hubris. Namely, we break down exactly which animals we think we could take in a fight. Not that fighting an animal to the death wouldn't make us really really sad.
