Episode description

Today on the show we're talking about a pretty heavy topic. We're discussing Mental Illness and Violence. Specifically we're discussing domestic violence and the excuses that both parties make for the continued behavior. Whether it's love, the perception of love, upbringing or other external factors that are keeping people from learning about themselves...it's important to realize that abuse always involves having to take personal responsibility for your behavior. Mental illness is not an excuse to be a jerk. Mental illness can accentuate bad behavior but it does not cause it. I get a bit harsh on this episode, so trigger warning for the topic and my tone of voice. Strap in cause it's going to be a bumpy ride on this episode of DOPEamine!
