Episode description

Today on the show we're talking about learning styles and mental health. I talk a bit about my past as a difficult learner and how I've been able to take the reigns as an adult to figure out ways to nurture my intelligence without feeling like I'm not able to keep up with the expectations of others. Learning my own style of acquiring information has allowed me to make for lost time in a school system that wasn't focused on my individual needs, which absolutely had a negative effect on my upbringing and social life. I'm sure many of you out there feel the same. So let's gather around the fire and get set for a story of childhood educational difficulty on this episode of DOPEamine.
