Episode description

Hey friends! Today on the show we're talking about ego defensiveness and humor development. In Myers-Briggs, it's typically known that the tertiary function is tied to ego defensiveness, that when you're arguing with someone they tend to bring their less-sophisticated tertiary function to the fight. That can be frustrating for the personal ego to not only use that function but frustrating for others to experience a side of you that they don't normally see. So, identifying that defensive behavior can be an important first step to understanding your personality type and how to grow your sense of humor, another form of ego defense, in a healthy constructive way. I'm in the early stages of my understanding this idea but we attempt to break it all down anyway here on DOPEamine! Let's go!
