Sit back and enjoy today's podcast . Hello everybody , welcome to another edition of Doing Life with Ken and Tabitha . I am so pumped that you are listening and watching because I have a special guest with me on today , none other than the man , the myth , the legend himself Reverend , is it ? Reverend ? Doctor ?

You probably you got a doctor , pastor , bishop , it's just Billy McGillicuddy . Sammy Rodriguez is in the house . Man , how are you doing ? Great to be with you . Man , it's good to have you here . It really is . I feel like this has been years in the making . It has been . I don't know if you remember . Do you remember ? I do remember .

Okay , we were at a conference together and this was before the pandemic , before , and I said I wanted you to come , and then the pandemic hit , and then COVID hit , and then . But here we are and here we are .

Speaker 2

We're still standing , yeah , we're ready to rock it .

Speaker 1

Let's do this . And so , for those of you all who are newer to pastor Sammy Rodriguez , I was actually on the internet , and I wasn't even looking for a .

Speaker 2

Bible . Start to hear that .

Speaker 1

Yeah , but I saw something on the internet and I wanted to read so our audience can get to know who this man is very quickly . Samuel Rodriguez is the president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference , the world's largest Hispanic Christian organization with 42,000 plus churches many additional churches around the globe .

Rodriguez stands recognized by CNN , fox News , univision Telemundo is America's most influential Latin Hispanic faith leader . Charisma Magazine named him one of the 40 leaders who changed the world . The Wall Street Journal named him one of the one of the top 12 Latino leaders and was the only faith leader on the list .

He has been named among the top 100 Christian leaders in America . He was the first to lose max 2018 , nominated for one of the 100 most influential time 2013 . Rodriguez is regularly featured on CNN , fox TV stations and it goes on and goes on , and goes on , and I know you can't stand bios , because I can't stand either .

I can't stand it , but I wanted them to know who you were , and so it's an honor to have you . I'm honored to be here , man . Give me some personal things , man . How long you been married ?

Speaker 2

kids . 33 years , married three kids . They love Jesus . Work in the ministry that's our greatest God ordained accomplishment . That's it right there . It's my beautiful wife who I met when I was 11 . Yeah , how long you been married . So I'm a husband of one , father of three .

Speaker 1

Okay .

Speaker 2

Not judging anyone else who was , you know , as a husband of five and father of 12 . I'm just saying in my world context . So we've been married 33 plus years and again , that's just my greatest God ordained accomplishment .

Speaker 1

My kids love Jesus man .

Speaker 2

Yeah , and they love their parents .

Speaker 1

Well , listen that right , there is a God in itself . So I have an 18 year old or 14 year old . There it is , and I tell people all the time my most challenging thing hasn't really been business building a church , it's actually been parenting .

When I say the most challenging thing , I just mean that I have different personalities , that I'm trying to steward and I don't know if you find it to be the same Totally , but parenting , like everybody's- oh , having a baby , marriage and the family is arguably the greatest miracle , first miracle Jesus ever performed .

Speaker 2

Where was it Water ? And to wine ? Where ?

Speaker 1

I don't know where was it .

Speaker 2

It was a wedding ceremony man . Oh , okay , I was looking for the city .

Speaker 1

I'm like burn the work .

Speaker 2

You think it's a coincidence , right Like the first miracle was marriage .

Speaker 1

Right , yeah , yeah , because marriage is a miracle . Yeah , yeah .

Speaker 2

Raising a family is miraculous . There is no greater miracle than raising a healthy family .

Speaker 1

It really is not . There really isn't , but there's a great warfare on that too , isn't it ?

Speaker 2

Well , that's why it's the greatest miracle . The enemy forget about attacking ministry and calling . The number one thing the enemy will come after is your family . Yeah , if you have a calling , the enemy will come after your family , because your family is your primary call and everything else is secondary to that .

So if you can put that together , if you can cover your family , if you can go old school here , if you can anoint your family , take that bottle of oil man , anoint every room , anoint every kid , go OG on that . I'm old school , I'm telling you it works and you'll see God show up .

Speaker 1

No , okay . So this is crazy , because this with my son I've just been having some trouble lately . And just little stuff , basically , he's bored in school because he's gifted , and I just realized this because we're basically in our conference week and I've received four emails in three days . Just little stuff .

Like he said this he's in class , yeah , and you think it's a coincidence ? You get that during conference . No , no , no , that's not a coincidence . So here on the last day I got smart and I said you know what , instead of me punishing him , punishing him , punishing him , I'm gonna begin to speak into his life and treat him like who's gonna become .

So I went in there today and I got the email and I said you know what ? I went in there and I said hey , man , hey , I got another thing from your school man . Tell me what's going on . And he's like I just feel like they're kind of picking on me a little bit and they're making a big deal of stuff .

But then he broke down and says you know , because he missed the morning sessions , he wanted to skip school to come to conference . He said I really felt like I should have been at conference . He said there was some prophetic words that I think I needed .

Speaker 2

First of all , he's already , he has a gift .

Speaker 1

Yeah . And then I said to him I said do you feel a call of God on your life , 12 years old ? He says yeah . I said what is it to be ? Is it a pastor ? He says yeah , I feel a call . I said did God speak to you or do you just know it ? He says I just know it . I says what kind of pastor is it ? Is it like a youth pastor or whatever ?

And he don't have any frameworks . So he said , yeah , probably a youth pastor , because he doesn't have framework . And I thought that was amazing that in a season of great warfare , where we're seeing the glory fall , the enemies after my family and you know those things , but at the same time God revealed to me who he was in that .

And so now I've been treating him too much like a kid . Now it's like listen , here's a microphone , here's a small group , I'm you know . It's more like it just took me to another level today , sammy .

Speaker 2

Because there's purpose .

Speaker 1

Yeah .

Speaker 2

Because there is purpose . I learned throughout the course of my trajectory a couple of principles . You pursue righteousness . You live a holy , healed , healthy , happy , humble , hungry , honoring life . Should I repeat that ? You live a holy , healed , healthy , happy , humble , hungry , honoring life . I call it a seven H's . You pursue righteousness .

You'll take care of your family . Yeah , if you live a life where you are , your integrity is greater than your influence . Your family will . Your children and your children's children will not inherit your sins . They will inherit your mantle . Your children will walk upon the ruins of the giants in the walls that you bring down in your respective generation .

So you just got to live in that promise . So I just Joshua 2415 . As for me , in my house , we will serve the Lord . Act 1631 . Believe in the Lord Jesus and you in your household will be saved . These promises are for my kids , my children and my children's children . I speak prophetically upon them constantly .

Yeah , I prophesy over them , I speak into them , even when they were growing up and there were , there were moments and chapters that were precarious . They cost great angst , consternation . Acid reflux prompted me to drink more chamomocchiato's than I should have . At the end of the day , yeah , yeah , god has it .

Speaker 1

What about when they're like lethargic ? I'm like oh , here you go , prophesying , praying again . You just prophesy over them . Anyway , what does it ?

Speaker 2

really matter . I don't give a holy hoot about , you know , whether or not they're in the spirit to receive it . Right , the fact that I'm releasing it , that's a God ordained mandate that they will inevitably listen , it will absorb them , right , I mean it's just . You can't deny it . Yeah , holy spirit , he's there .

And the fact that you're my kid , right , and that God gave me you as my child . Yeah , you will inherit mantles and blessings . You will serve the Lord .

Speaker 1

But I'm glad you're not asking .

Speaker 2

I'm telling you so , yeah , I mean you , could you go old school and go ? Oh , they have . You know they go make their own decision . Yeah , they are inevitably . But God promised me right that if I would pursue him and do his well , he'll take care of my family . My family will be saved . Yeah , I love what I'm alive .

Yeah today or tomorrow they gonna get it .

Speaker 1

Yeah , yeah , I love that . I love the authority . I love the confidence . I love the direction . Yeah , I think I just got that today that , like you know what , no , we're taking authority here . You're called I'm a train you up because I was trying to do a thing where , it's like you know , my oldest is a freshman .

She's at or or Roberts , but she's still trying to find her great school .

Speaker 2

By the way , I sure want the board of war you great school .

Speaker 1

I highly recommend it . Yeah , she's done a full track scholarship , really cross-country . Yeah , wow . So she's a freshman , so she's just getting used to . Yeah , and my wife just came back from there Visiting her and pumping her up and stuff .

But yeah , I think with my kids , it's just time to really take them to another level and let them know what they're a part of . And I know our people , you know , might not be in ministry , so forth sown , but if your kids are in your family , they are part of something great because God , because of your calling , who you are , and so .

So anyway , but yeah , man , I mean thank you for that .

Speaker 2

I listen , what one . For my whole thing I wasn't a perfect . You know . I haven't been a perfect parent , right ? I don't know if you're a such animal other than our heavenly father , but Even in my imperfections , I've given them my three kids to rubric , which is Build upon my successes , all God ordained , of course .

Build upon my successes , learn from my mistakes . Okay and be you .

Speaker 1

Yeah , those are the three . That's it . Can you say them again ?

Speaker 2

Hmm , build upon our successes . You don't want to negate that every generation builds upon the successes the other . Build upon our successes . Learn from my mistakes . Be who God made you to be .

Speaker 1

I like number two because it's it's letting them know you're not perfect , oh important .

Speaker 2

Yeah , you learn from army , and , but you have to be Transparent and authentic enough to acknowledge it , to confess it . Right , the power of apologizing to your kid right ? Maybe the most transformative thing you could possibly do . Yeah so the power to apologize when you screw up to your kid ? Yeah , that may be it . I mean that they may .

That may arguably trump speaking and tugs over them for an hour . Yeah , yeah looking at your kid and saying I screwed up with you , right , right , or I screwed up in life . Yeah , I'm sorry .

Yeah , that'll jack them up in a good way forever , like she , the guy up there on stage that preaches about grace and forgiveness and the blood of Christ , he lives it . Yeah , yeah , it's like whoa , yeah , boom , yeah , it works so apologizing to your kid and honoring your child . Uh-huh , honoring you , I mean we expect them to honor us .

Ephesians 6 , 1 through 4 honor them right , I kind of did that today .

Speaker 1

I went to him and I was like , hey , when I was in your , your age , I actually got in trouble in English class as well , and it took me forever Just to remember that it was actually me . That's wow , and so English is his thing where he's just bored . I remember just kind of just fiddling and just doing .

Speaker 2

Jeffery Shosser and Shakespeare . They , they get you . Yeah , and Milton .

Speaker 1

Yeah , yeah , yeah . So anyway , Today's segment . I wanted to entitle it your mess , god's miracle . No , no , I didn't want to call it that . I wanted to call it how to turn mess into miracles . Yeah , because you wrote a book called You're a mess God's miracle . I need to talk about that , sponsored by Kellogg . Can you talk to me , man ?

I'm excited for our listeners to be able to hear . What does that mean ? Why did you write it and what was the foundation of it ?

Speaker 2

That is John . Chapter nine wrote it after COVID . I've been preaching that message now for a while , maybe close to 20 years , but it right after COVID it became a reality even more , the fact that here comes Jesus , here's a blind man , born blind . Jesus comes along , engages in a very unorthodox facilitative methodology .

He spits yeah , spits on the ground , makes a mud ball , spreads it on a man who's already blind . That's called the first biblical double blind study . So he places it on the man's eyes , spreads the mess and then , like a boss , walks away and says go wash yourself .

Activate God's Power, Transform Mess Into Miracles

That whole thing . I break that down scripturally of what it means , the fact that Jesus took his DNA literally . That's not revelation , that's just pure science . He took his DNA , places it on the man who was born blind . In other words , with your DNA you can't see anything . With my DNA you're about to see my glory .

With your DNA , you are perpetually traumatized . With my DNA , the trauma becomes a testimony , drama becomes destiny . So it's the power of God's DNA , the fact that we have it . We don't have a spirit , we have a spirit . We have the fullness of the DNA of the Redeemer of the universe . Wow , if we just spit , the man was able to see .

Imagine what we can see with his spirit . We can see the impossible , we can see what has never been seen before in our generation , in our communities , in our world . So , and then he , of course , he mixes it up with the mud , which is very important , because what did God make man out of Genesis 2,7 ? Dirt mud .

So he actually went to the original blueprint , in other words , in my original blueprint . For you , hey , sunshine , you weren't born blind . Your family is not a family that is cursed with multi-generational curses . You weren't supposed to have diabetes according to my original plan . You're not supposed to have in my original plan . You're blessed and highly favored .

You are the righteousness of God . The purpose of Jesus is to save us and to give us abundant life , right , which is part of the great continuum of redemption . That abundant life is not just when we get to heaven . It begins right here , right now .

So he wants to activate his original plan for you , your family , your home , your marriage , your ministry , your calling , your career , your purpose now , and that's why I wrote the best that that book , your Mess , becomes God's Miracle , because every single mess in Christ becomes a miracle , without exception .

Speaker 1

Any other examples stick out to you of messes becoming miracles ?

Speaker 2

Oh , across the board in scripture , from Genesis to Revelation , you have you know from Moses and what he did . He was a murderer and that became a miracle . You have the apostle Paul , who was persecuting the church , and his life becomes a miracle .

You have Peter , who's a fisherman , who walks around with Jesus for three and a half years , denies them backslides and then becomes a miracle , and he's a preacher in the upper room . Across the board , the Bible is full of people who were messes , families that were full of messes , that inevitably , through the redemptive work of God , become a miracle .

Speaker 1

So what about the person who just feels messy in their finances ? Their health is in a messy place , their marriage is in a messy place . How do we take those messes from the Bible that we obviously see have become miracles but really make it applicable to our lives , Like can you just speak to them who is in a mess right now ?

What would you say to a person in the mess .

Speaker 2

Exactly what happened in John , chapter 9 . You have to give Jesus access to your dirt in order for him to grant you access to your destiny .

Speaker 1

That's the whole thing . You gotta see that again . So you have to give Jesus access to your dirt .

Speaker 2

Before he gives you access to your dirt .

Speaker 1

Access to your destiny . Talk to me about that .

Speaker 2

Yeah , that's what he did . He got access to the dirt . Put the dirt in the man's eyes and the rest is history . You have to give him access . The only reality in the presence of God leads to victory .

Speaker 1

So you're talking about vulnerability .

Speaker 2

We're talking about vulnerability , authenticity be real Give access .

Speaker 1

Oh , so you mean , like what I'm going through in life , give it to him .

Speaker 2

Here's my dirt . Here's my dirt . You have it , it's all yours . It's the powerful reality of 1 John , chapter 1 , verse 9 , from 6 through 9 . Powerful words that are no longer used in many of the pulpits , unfortunately . It's this idea of repentance I'm sorry , is that too controversial ?

Speaker 1

I just appreciate the problem here . I should take that away . You want to ?

Speaker 2

delete that , because repentance is like that term is no longer even used . The power of repentance , of confession , oh goodness Dear . You not confess , you repent . You confess he washes , he grants you the miracle . First John , chapter 1 , verse 6 through 9 . It's a biblically substantiated rubric . It's God's algorithm of the supernatural .

It's coding already designed from the beginning of the universe . It's already provided . Do it , you can't . I mean , god's science is God's science . You can't bypass the process . Give him access to your dirt , he'll give you access to your destiny .

Speaker 1

Okay , give me more . So give him access to your dirt . What would be something else you would tell the person Go wash yourself . Okay .

Speaker 2

Jesus looks at him and says all right now that I put this all on you . Jesus never washed him .

Speaker 1

Okay , so go wash yourself .

Speaker 2

No , listen , the idea of entitlement . There are too many people walking around going I need you , god , to come , and then God comes around and says but I already placed everything on you how ? Many words can I possibly give you ?

How many prophetic impartations , I mean , how many verses , how many , given that you know word of wisdom , word of knowledge , whatever it may be , you carry all of that . What else do you want ?

Speaker 1

me to do Now ? Go do it , go do something .

Speaker 2

There are things you're going to have to learn to do by yourself . You got to pray for yourself , prophesy over yourself . You're all waiting for it and I believe in the prophetic and it's beautiful , but there's a fine line between the prophetic and the pathetic and you need to understand . You need to learn how to just prophesy over yourself .

But if you don't know how to do it ? I'll teach you how to do it in 20 seconds . Go to your room , look at the mirror . If you want to go old school , get some extra virgin olive oil . It has to be extra virgin olive oil for whatever reason . Just the rules .

Get the extra virgin olive oil , put it on your head , look at yourself and say you want a word from God . Here's the word . No weapon formed against you will prosper . Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world . If God before you , who can be against you ?

I mean just boom , go wash yourself and stop waiting upon others to activate God's purpose and destiny upon your life . You already placed it upon your man . It's on you . It's on you and it's in you . Go wash yourself .

Speaker 1

Maybe a number three . You got a third one . What else would you do ? Turn a mess into a miracle . Somebody's messy right now . Turn into a miracle . What's the third thing ? Testify , Testify .

Speaker 2

They approached the man and said aren't you wait a second , aren't you the ? But who did it ? Was it them ? The Masai , that rabbi , that guy , that controversy , who the guy interrupts and says listen , y'all don't know the details , can't explain everything .

In other words , I don't have the theological framing , can't justify it here , but this I know , I was blind . But now I see but now I see what God does in you , with you , for you , through you , for His namesake will speak louder that anything , anything your critics and your haters may rise up and declare upon you .

Speaker 1

Yeah , that's good .

Speaker 2

It is what it is . If their criticism did not make you , if their praise did not make you , their criticism cannot break you . You have to walk in the fullness of the finished work of Christ . Come on , Go wash yourself , yeah yeah , I love that man .

Speaker 1

I love that . I love that . I think there's a lot of people out there that have all kinds of messes . For me it would be kind of like there's nothing too hard for the Lord . I would just really also encourage that person . You know , do everything that you're talking about doing , but don't give up . I mean there's all things are possible to them that believe .

I mean , we've seen mess turning the miracles all of the time , and I'm sure you heard this phrase before but God to take your mess and give you a message , and I know that's what he's done for my wife and I , whether it's been overcoming 12 years of depression for my wife overcoming breast cancer , whatever there has been a mess , as long as I didn't let it

mess me up , it has actually become one of my greatest assets . So , coming through cancer now God's given us a great healing anointing , giving me an anointing of joy . It's almost like he has this way of taking mess and turning it into a message and , like you said , turning it into a miracle .

Speaker 2

He converts the liability into an asset . Yeah , and only God can do that . Only God can do that .

Speaker 1

Yeah , man , you know what I really love about you , just watching from afar over all these years , is I just feel like you have a prophetic mandate , and it's a prophetic mandate not just for your church , but for the body of Christ , and not just the body of Christ , but actually for the nations . What's stirring in your heart right now ?

Just like what is God doing ? Like the post-pandemic church . What season are we in as a church ? What are you seeing God do around the world ? What is he ? What's burning in your heart right now ?

Speaker 2

The past 30 years we've seen a transition from and I'm gonna say this with great due deference for the collective church . The church is beautiful , I'm a fan of the church , but for the past 30 years , 40 years maybe we've been through massages and now we're going through a chiropractor . That's the reality .

We were in saunas and in spas , man getting many pennies , the sermons , the messages , the conferences , and God bless them . There was no ill intent , but God shows up in the past few months and years , last three years , and he says all right , massage time is over , now it's time to put everything in alignment .

And then we're hearing some crazy noises coming from different sectors of the church because we don't need a masseuse right now , we need a chiropractor . And God is putting things in alignment and we're talking about biblical orthodoxy , which is the truth of God's word . Whatever the Bible calls holy , we should call holy .

What are the Bible calls sin , we should call sin . And God's putting things in order . And he is . He is Matthew 24 . He's beginning to divide between the sheep and the goat . So it is God's beautiful way of saying here it is .

It just is the time aligning the body , because we're about to see the greatest outpouring of the Holy Spirit and we're about to reap the greatest harvest in human history . We are about to see more people come to Jesus and get saved than ever before in human history , and you and I are gonna be alive to see it .

Speaker 1

We're experiencing it now . We're seeing it . It's something that God is doing and it's an amazing season to be in . But I like what you said when you kind of started out . You said something about like we're not trying to judge the whole body . You know I'm not the kind of person .

Well , the church needs to do this , like I love the church , but we also , because we do this and we've given our life to this , we see the different seasons of ministry . I studied revival history man . I see the pitfalls , I see what has happened over the years . The good , the bad and the ugly , the good , the bad and the ugly .

And we went through a season where it was a massage and it was very how can I say this without being pointed ? It was very like let's feel good , it's comfortable .

Speaker 2

I'll help you . It was a self-serving , narcissistic looking in the mirror rather than going and then looking through the window . It's all about me , it's all about me , it's all about you . No , it's all about me . Every message is about me . But that ain't been the gospel . It's never been the gospel .

No , the gospel is Christ , crucified , resurrected , coming back again .

Speaker 1

Yeah , yeah , yeah .

Speaker 2

Yeah . So we flip it now . And now people like and I love you , I love what you do , your wife and I'm here . This is not a gig man . I've done gigs , I've not done any more gigs . I only go to churches and I only connect to people that I have . That God connected me to for kingdom advancement purposes , not gigs .

And that's why I'm here , because I love you , you preach the gospel , you don't quench the Holy Spirit and your worldview is biblically substantiated and undergirded .

Speaker 1

I love it Well , thank you , man . Thank you , yeah , we just got off a series with a nine-week series called Sex . God's Way , I love it and I was nervous for a year and a half .

Speaker 2

George , you need to get that Sex God's Way , because for you and your wife , because sometimes go down real quick . I'm not judging any , I'm just saying because it's just some post on Facebook , but kind of working , go ahead .

Speaker 1

Man , I was nervous about it for a while and I didn't even know the tone that it was gonna take . I just knew that we wanted to give people truth

Truth and Holiness in Today's Society

and love . But when we started off , we just had this one simple principle that God's word is truth and it's truth that'll make people free . And we started off with this one idea that the Bible calls sin as actually sin , and the only way I dare you say that . What is wrong with you ? Well , I think that's the challenge .

If we're not willing to call something sin , we have to first off call it sin before we can ever repent from it . Or perhaps ? It'll take away from it or get free from it , or any of that .

Speaker 2

Absolutely .

Speaker 1

So I cannot dance around truth , because the scripture says that God's word is true . So it is my obligation as a minister of the gospel to , in love , share truth with you- .

Speaker 2

You get pushback on that .

Speaker 1

Well , I got on social media for three months .

Speaker 2

Well , look at you so .

Speaker 1

I don't know . My team will tell you if I got pushback , but to me so the algorithm didn't like , didn't like me telling truth .

Speaker 2

Of course .

Speaker 1

So our social media kind of flattened , but attendance grew and I didn't know this was gonna happen . People were hungry for truth , but they are .

Speaker 2

People were hungry for truth . They are . Listen and then go ahead . No , no , you go because you're inspiring me .

Speaker 1

Yeah , yeah , yeah , I love that . Yeah , people were hungry for truth . Go ahead .

Speaker 2

But the fact that you and you do it with love . Yeah , you do it with love . But if all we do is speak love , then we're a bunch of hippies . Yeah , no questioning about it . If all we do is speak truth , we're mathematicians . If we speak truth in love , truth with love , and truth for love , we change the world . That's the gospel .

That's the gospel , and many people are sacrificing , you know , truth on the altar of political and cultural and sexual expediency . And we're talking about preachers now , not judging anybody .

Speaker 1

Not judging anybody , I'm just saying .

Speaker 2

I'm just saying I'm just , and it's wrong Because , as a generation has confused generation Z and alphas . Our church is like 70% millennial . We have a large generation Z and alpha of constituency emerging in our church and they want truth , man , like they were here because we weren't here . To truth , we're confused . No one has the truth out there .

What's the truth ? Right ? So you got to deliver the truth , yeah .

Speaker 1

And we kind of decided just to go straight through the front door , and this was our line . We said that God told us to give people who wanted an off ramp an off ramp out of sexual immorality .

And we define sexual immorality in seven different ways from Leviticus 18 all the way to the New Testament , it was adultery , fornication , umbeciality , incest , homosexuality , lust and pornography .

And so , if so , we put it all together and we said listen , we're not going to tell you how to live , but if you are a believer , you want to submit to the , to the word of God , because his word is truth .

And we want to give you all friends , and the world is going to tell you , whoever you are , do whatever you want to do , whoever you want to do it , but that is going to lead to bondage . We're going to give you , and that's what you want to do , go do it . But yeah , yeah , but for those of you all who simply are like you know what ?

I know this is wrong . Please let me out . We're going to give you an off ramp . So many people took the off ramp . There's so many people that are like I'm in a lifestyle and I know it's wrong . Why ? Because God's commands are written on our heart and they're .

They feel bad about it , but nobody's telling them what to do , and I love you enough that I'm going to take the heat and get off the social media so I can tell you what to do . And we saw people get free .

Speaker 2

And they get free , and then you create small groups and community around them to disciple them in a way that's biblically substantiated . Holy Spirit shows up and he continues to give you the power to overcome every single day where , where that bondage , that lifestyle , that proclivity no longer defines you . It's freedom , john 832 , john 836 .

It just nothing more beautiful than being set free by the blood of the lamb , and I love you because freedom can only arrive , john 832 , via the conduit of truth . Without truth , there will be no freedom . Right .

Speaker 1

Right . And here's the thing about truth . Truth is not relative . It's not not like well , that's just your truth . I got my truth . No truth is found in the Word of God . My truth has to submit to His Word , for His Word is truth .

And so when I'm looking for truth , I'm not going to the social media , I'm not going to Foxy and N , I'm going to the Word of God , and that's the only thing that will get a generation free , and I think that this generation is hungry for that Hung . That's what I'm sensing . I'm sensing revival .

Speaker 2

Oh .

Speaker 1

I'm sensing like we are about to usher in this end time harvest of soul . I know we've been preaching and prophesying for many years , but I'm seeing like now .

Speaker 2

I can feel it in the atmosphere . I'm going to be sure net tonight a little bit , but we're about to see what we've never seen before , and this time I'm quoting from the gospel of John . Now , this time the net will not break . It will not break .

Speaker 1

You know , one thing that you said that I think is pivotal , and I think somebody needs to hear this , is that a lot of the glory and the weight of what God wants to do and the blessing of God wants to do is going to be based upon us having integrity and loving holiness . Again , I'm talking about these old school words , but I know who I'm talking to .

Speaker 2

It's such a lonely word when your integrity is greater than your influence , nothing can stop you . That's it .

Speaker 1

And I believe that God is like almost putting a spotlight back on character . You know a lot of people pray for promotion instead of God giving me promotable character , and I just feel like in this season of what God's doing , he's looking for people to just live right .

Speaker 2

Live right and there has to be a continuum between your private life and your public presentation . There has to be continuity . We have to see continuity and it's not . We're not saying that we're perfect and that we are .

You know , the epitome of what we are saying is that we have discovered throughout the course of the journey in Genesis 6a that God favors the righteous , he favors the righteous and there is a connection between righteousness and the favor of God , not to be confused with temporary favor that can come through gifting and charisma .

At the end of the day , if there is no integrity , that converts into something that's antithetical to fulfillment of God-ordained purpose . So I love that we're about to see just men and women of integrity rise up , where integrity is more important than influence , and God will give them God-ordained influence in order for them to change the world .

Speaker 1

Man man , man , man . I think we could go on and on all day . We are at our yearly conference , a live conference . Pastor Sammy is about to bring the word .

Speaker 2

I just want some of the merch . What can I get the merch ?

Speaker 1

Can I get the merch ? Yeah , we're going to get you some stuff .

Speaker 2

Because that's , that's fine . I want to cycle .

Speaker 1

We got better stuff than this , though . You just wait . But anyway , man , I've enjoyed having you on . Thank you so much for sharing from your heart , from the overflow and whoever's watching this . I will just challenge you to make like new commitments to God to live holy . Yeah , that's simply where you line your life up with what his word says .

We're not talking about guilt and condemnation , legalism , but we're talking about just living . I call it living beyond the gray because the Bible is not black and white about everything . There's a lot of things in the Bible that it just doesn't say this or that . However , if it's in a gray area , you know it's an area that's not leading you to Jesus .

Maybe you should put it on the altar and let everything you do glorify God . I'm just saying that I've been . I've been in ministry 20 years . I've been a lead pastor for 16 years and I got to tell you that I actually enjoy just living . Right it's .

I found a joy and a fun , and I don't have to go out and do all kinds of crazy stuff to have this joy and fun , because it's a joy that Jesus will give us , and I believe that it comes on the heels of holiness and so hopefully , that is a word for you . Thank you so much for joining us , for doing life again with Ken and Tabitha .
